The free junk food has nothing to do with it when they're already obese. Just excuses like everything else about them.

So, teachers keep warehouses of student's papers just in case that one is killed by a cop? I wonder why my teachers kept of mine.

This is the one that gets me thinking.

Berenstein -> Berenstain because well, the former is too Jewish. So at some point, it would be changed. "Ethnic" sounding names are changed all the time.

No one has been able to produce proof of the way we remember these things it because it's all stuff we really didn't hold on to. Books get ruined, food packages thrown out. Signs replaced, especially road signs where there is a standard, so they are all pretty much going to be replaced and destroyed (or repurposed as material for new signs). Nobody has any of these examples any more. It's easy to say "you remember wrong," even if your memory is correct.

The only exception being "The Thinker," and I have always remembered it hand on chin anyway.

I know it's "Thanksgiving"...

No, thank you, I'll pass.

As someone who's done over 25 in civil service, this is pretty what you get.

Although I'd say it's a vicious cycle of diversity -> lack of critical thinking -> diversity -> ... because diversity hires just aren't capable, so the government jobs get dumbed down even more over time leading to more diversity hires.

Not only are they obsessed with the pension, but the money in general. Give a diversity hire a living wage and they'll blow it on a BMW for each day of the week and work all the overtime available to afford that lifestyle.

So... yet another way for people to live without consequences of their actions?

That's right, I'm going to sign up to be a test subject for a group that uses poor grammar. :/

What, no "if you don't agree, you're an antisemitic person spreading your hatred"?

"Let's wipe out a whole group of people,. "A-OK".

"Look what the Jew said." "ANTISEMITE!"

Back when I was trying to lose weight (about 15 years ago) I decided to see a local registered dietician. While she gave some helpful tips, I would lose track of how many times during a meeting she'd be pushing specifically Larabar, Clif bars and all this other sugar and crap laden "health" food like granola by specific vendors. Then would complain about my apple, banana and carrot consumption because they contain "too much sugar."

So, IMO, this is kind of not really new, but nobody's really ever brought exposure to it.

How, now, are the retards going to show off their participation trophies?

Other than here on scored, I have not seen any news about Hungary stepping up to help Hawai'i.

No consequences, free money, is probably how a lot of people remember it.

How a lot of people think it should be.

Sit at home, hand me free money. Print more if needed. Repeat, just keep free money coming.

Generating false or harmful content, such as fake news, fake reviews, fake products, fake services, fake coupons, fake ads, etc.

So, the AI is already working for the NY Times?

"There's something going on here... drugs"

Bags under the eyes, wrinkles, blank stare, black... they all seem to fit.

Don't worry Americans, it won't happen here. They won't question you.

Law Enforcement can just take your money after withdrawal:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/civil_forfeiture

They can take your money or property, and say you're going to commit a crime with it. Or that you got it by way of committing a crime. They need proof, but it's really not that hard. Once they have it, the burden of proof is on you to prove you didn't get it through criminal means to get your property or money back. Good luck with that.

How many of the common folk even know what the ESG is to give a fuck?

If these companies wanted to push back, they certainly have the resources to do so.

Only bad thing is you have to keep on top of things and plan ahead.

A family member bought a house in PA with propane. First delivery the guy told him he needs to keep so much even though it seems like it will last a while, because he couldn't always guarantee delivery based on demand and weather conditions. Sometimes it might be weeks before a delivery could be made.

Then again propane being NG, how long before the retards start attacking that?

Ok boomer. /s

Journalism is just getting sloppy, period. The young journalists just call those who call them out on it "old fashioned" and "out of touch with modern language."

Next thing you know, it will be OK to use text speak in headlines.

"A plant power[ed?] diet is better for yo' physical and mental health, and I am livin' proof of that."

A point well made.

Let's be honest, social security is going down anyway. No one paying into it just means less for the politicians to steal.

I typically see the "vax cult" posts and think "ok, maybe a bit exaggerated, but fair."

This just proves this vax crap is part of a cult mind.

Of course, they'll find a way to make that not work.

Before:

"You had great credit for 20 years, but this little slip is going to cost you big time. Get out the vasoline and bend over before your banker."

Coming up:

"Well, we see that your credit has been great for the last 20 years. This is just a blip, so we'll look past it and keep your credit clean... to ahem only your own benefit of course."
