I have learned over the years:

Look out for bad people who know they are trying to do you wrong. They are trouble and should be avoided.

RUN from people who think they are doing the right thing in oppressing/forcing you to do something you do not want to do for the greater good. They are the most evil people in the world.

You are assuming that they are human like you. I am convinced they are not. I don't know what they are but they do not have the same mental mechanisms to feel about things that most normal people would.

I watch a YT channel about stupid people in cars, but after watching it, I am convinced that there are other species or forms living amongst us that just don't have the same ability or desire to reason like average conscientious people. Just think of the Bolsheviks of the Russian revolution, how could those people do the horrors to their "own" people if not for the fact that they were NOT their people.

I learned this lesson when I was a teenager.

I was gripped with fear of losing my grandmother. She raised me and was the sweetest person I ever knew. So gentle of heart and mind.

I would wake up with what felt like my heart had stopped when the fear would take over. I realized that I had to scream back at the fear. I had to aggressively challenge my fear and I had to embrace the thought of her eventual passing. Eventually she did pass, while it was sad, I was ready for it and it did not destroy me.

I have friends and colleagues who will often comment on "how I am so confident", but it is not confidence but an absolute rejection of fear that powers my actions. You know I always felt bad for Jews in the past. My former boss was Jewish and he was a great guy.

I asked the financial manager for my credit union about "Bail-Ins" and whether they affect CUs. He had never heard of a bail in! Can you believe it?
