Everyone's genetics are different, what will work on one person will not necessarily work on another, they have to know that. This will fail and billions of people will die as a result. Humanity will be taken back to the stone age. Every time humans try to "fix" things they get it wrong. Just look at Kudzu and invasive species, every time humanity thinks it has the answer, it has unintended consequences. This will fail so miserably, it will wipe us out.
