I started drinking a couple teaspoons in ice water and noticed the same thing. It’s great.

Add lemon for maximum anti oxidative/anti cancer benefits. Also makes it a lemonade. 16-ish oz's of water, a 1/8-1/4 of a lemon squeezed, cheese grate some rind into the drink, and a packet or 2 of stevia or natural sweetner. It tastes just like lemonade, and the ACV taste is hidden and MASSIVE benefits.

How much apple cider vinegar do you use in this recipe?

I find the ACV taste is quite pleasant actually. Grew up in a country with a culture of selling pickle juice on the streets during hot days. Kinda strange given how salty that drink is and shouldn't mix well with the temperatures. It reminds me of that flavor.

I am going to have some this morning, having been reminded of it by this post. The most massive benefit I noticed was how the consistency of the stools I passed became more "healthy". I hadn't noticed how it had changed over the years of increasing processed foods in our diet.

I just started trying it and agree.

I have always suffered from such bloating, especially at night. I even felt like the bloating was so bad it was lifting my rib cage.

Now I down an ounce of ACV with some dichotomous Earth and my stomach stays flat all the time. The dichotomous Earth really helps with constipation too.

Naive question: why apple cider in particular? Would other types of vinegar work as well?

Check also "acetylcisteinum". It is a part of glutathione synthesis so, your body will be able to make gluthatione by itself. And it is assimilated better by your guts than glutathione.

May be it is cheaper or more accessible. And result should be the same with less amount.

N-Acetylcysteine + l-glutamine + l-glycine all required to make glutathione inside your body. Most are deficient in NAC and those who are near RoundUp spraying are deficient in glycine as glyphosate replaces glycine.

Take Grams of both, not just a few mg.

👍👍

You don't get feedback inhibition from taking glutathione directly if you give your body the things it needs to make it. Add selenium and it cleans up excess glutathione which can be harmful. Here's my full stack

I. White Stack (by color of pills) -- Glutathione / Peroxidase Stack

Safe to take with any other prescription drug. All of these are in foods you eat every day, just in large quantities.

  • Selenium (SeMSC is best form, but better to take all three forms (Life extension super selenium complex))
  • NAC -- N-Acetyl-Cysteine (or L-Cysteine)
  • L-Glutamine
  • L-Tryptophan
  • L-Glycine
  • L-Lysine
  • R-lipoic-Acid (pref, optional) or Alpha Lipoic Acid

for posterity, the zinc ionophore / polyphenol stack

I. Yellow Stack (by color of pills) Zinc Ionophore Stack

Take 2-3 times a week. Should be taken every day if you have or suspect viral infection. Safe to take with whatever is prescribed as they are all in foods.

  • Quercetin
  • EGCG
  • Berberine
  • Zinc (50mg daily)
  • Elderberry (isoquercetin, rutin; optional)

Good stacks both, recommended. A more thorough list of zinc ionophores is in Table 1 of article:

"Anti-COVID-19 drug candidates: A review on potential biological activities of natural products in the management of new coronavirus infection" https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S222541102031289X

Naturally, works for other infections other than just SARS-CoV-2 (or whatever coronavirus is going around).

NB! 50mg daily of zinc (which you wisely don't recommend) one gets near neural damage risk levels in prolonged use, not to mention distorting the zinc/copper balance. I've done both, so have the battle scars :-D

Good additions. Minor caveats:

Selenium may be toxic after a certain threshold when used in specific forms (like selenomethionine). Ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7033057/

Selenium at high supplementation doses "clean up" glutathione, because it is a ROS agent - so not ideal. Body can innately deal with excess glutathione much more safely (been there, done that, lived to tell the tale):

Ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5758946/

Lysine is also a great addition, so many of my clients too are constantly deficient (mainly due to poorly implemented vegetarian/vegan diet).

As for R-LA, the last time I checked, standard (cheapest) R-LA is fairly unstable and as such not very bioavailable. As such, just as you do, I also recommend stable forms of sodium R-lipoates (Like AOR or LE versions of such):

Ref: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18069903/

Great to see a fellow stacker, kudos Sir!

I had taken NAC for a month or two during college, no noticeable effects except for some mental clarity then.

I take it now, and feel better. If don't take it now and start getting a burning sensation on my throat and chest after a few days.

I suspect some spike protein drama. There are too many vaccinated people where I live.

NAC blocks the spike protein ACE-2 receptor link up. And you are right about vaccinated people shedding, especially if recently vaxxed.

Wife turned me on to these. Whenever I start to feel like I might be getting sick I start taking 6 every 4 hours or so.

It's either gone the next day or extremely mild. I was skeptical, but it seems to work.

What brand/can you paste a link?

I took NAC for a while and I didn't really think it had much of an effect; same for my small cohort of family test subjects. I haven't tried taking glutathione directly, yet.

na-c is an internal and over time thing. What it does is help with spike protein reduction, and 1/2 replecated dead cells. Those cells, that are half way thru their life cycle and not splitting because some oddity can be causing cancers. N-ac, Gingko bilboa, and a few other free radical agents help reduce and get rid of that shit via the liver and kidneys. Also na-c is one of the only free radicals that can actually cross into blood brain barrier.

I buy that brand from a spanish ecommerce since i'm EU

It seems to be the best brand for this kind of stuff.

Got their niacin which is like 500% or 5000% vnr, like 200 pieces for 7 euros.

I'mma stock up on NAC next order, that and some biotin and quercetin perhaps.

Good for you.

The best way to take in supplements, or any drug, is to get it into your blood stream directly.

Anything that has to go through your gastrointestinal system (stomach) loses its efficacy by half. It has to travel through the hydrochloric acid in your stomach before it can absorbed into the small intestines, and that stuff destroys just about anything.

I try an find my supplements in sublingual form, put under your tongue, for maximum effectiveness.

Thanks for the recommend.

Beware of feedback inhibition. That means you should use it for a short time, then go without it for a while and then for a short time, cycling this pattern.

If you are deficient in your own Glutathione production it is time to start asking why.but yeah, glutathione works, liposomal version even better.

If you get a huge benefit from exogenous Glutathione, then consider also delta tocotrienols (DeltaGold) and Geranylgeraniol.

NAC is also a liver enzyme IIRC which in too large a dose could be hard on your body so moderate accordingly.

Cool, thanks. I’m really looking for something to help with mental clarity. I was hopeful when I tried supplementing vitamin D and iodine but neither made a noticeable difference. I’ll look more into this.

permalink parent save report block reply

– TheOxOnRocks 2 points 141 days ago +2 / -0

Vit d and iodine are good in the long term. They take a while to effect the body, but they help with overall long term health. For Vit d, you are best off getting sun every day. For iodine, I like taking chlorella. A clean chlorella has enough iodine and it has the added benefit of removing heavy metals and providing a wide spectrum of nutrients. Also, if you want the iodine to be effective, you should add in some selenium to your intake. Selenium helps remove bad halogens/iodines..

glutathione is different, it has a more immediate effect. It grabs all kinds of junk out of the body. Example - if you are intoxicated, take a glutathione and you will notice the intoxication wear off much quicker. It also helps with hangovers… they call glutathione the “master antioxidant” for a reason. I’ve seen a lot of doctors recommend taking NAC instead o glutathione though. You body turns NaC into glutathione, so the end result is theoretically the same.
