Not often I would say something like this, but someone who until very recently was in mainstream media took the words out of my mouth.
On a related note, Colonel Douglas Macgregor--for those familiar with him--is also a mainstream-adjacent type of guy and a few months ago he also said he thought there would be no election in 2024. I found it pretty shocking coming from a lifelong federal employee.
Oh, it was pure sarcasm! Hal Turner, that guy throws some strikes now and again, and of course we all roll gutter balls from time to time, but a lot of his stories ricochet into the pro shop or sail into the bar area.
On a serious note, I don't believe Russia would have ever started military operations in Ukraine if they believed there was a realistic chance it would ever come to a full nuclear exchange. All I can say here is that there's a lot that goes into that conclusion.
But they do make statements warning about it, especially Medvedev. And it should first be noted that these are warnings. When a dog barks to warn you off, he's doing you a favor. He's not going to bite unless those warnings are ignored.
Even these warnings, though, I see actually as messages to the populations of Western nations: "Your violent and aggressive leaders do not care about you and your nations. It's gotten very, very serious and you all need to wake up, stand up and do something about it as if you and your family's lives were at stake."
What's depressing is that even with a message like that, people are still too distracted and numbed out and beat down to care.
IDK if you'd be interested in this, but the whole issue has to be reframed because a deeper scam is at work (which of course will never be discussed by anyone in the mainstream, ever).
Starting in the early 1970's, productivity became disconnected from real wages, whereas they had--through the various mechanisms of free-market forces--always been highly correlated before.
The difference over the last 50 years is about 2.5x. That is, if you make $100k/year doing whatever, it would and should have been $250k. That's a real difference in lifestyle.
And the federal minimum wage at $7.25 would have naturally become just over $18/hr by now. Really, though, if "minimum wage"-type jobs ordinarily paid that much, the whole concept would have been abandoned.
But you see how deep the scam is? They've got people in the streets to "Fight for 15!" Fifteen? You can see now that 15 itself is a ripoff. People just have no idea--literally--how bad it really is.

Coincidentally, just last night I listened to this old interview:

To illustrate a bit what placeholders most of these people actually are, when Kamaltoe was (s)elected VP, a guy named Alex Padilla was appointed to take her seat as Senator from California and has been in office almost 3 years.
He could pass me on the street and I would not recognize him. I have never heard him speak nor seen him in any video of any proceedings or interviews. Before he became a US Senator, he could have been the guy delivering my mail.
Maybe he still is, and they keep him out of Washington so he doesn't make trouble.
Quick note on the dead witch: She was present at SF City Hall during the famous Harvey Milk & Mayor Moscone assassinations. They were fake, and part of the evidence of that is a big plot hole in her story.
