The article is really well-written and full of information, but as for the headline, I think the author hasn't kept up with just how far beyond the looking glass we've gone here in the United States of Freedom and the rest of the Free World.

Although what the article points out is true, I think they're actually trying to misdirect from an even more shocking statistic: the fertility rate in the United States dropped below replacement level 50 years ago. Exclusive of immigration, we would have already seen a substantial decline in the population, as well as a significantly higher average age.

Actually, I think this is a reflection that even control of a hellhole like that was never complete, but based on subversion of key positions together with a lot of people just trying to keep their jobs. But I'm sure many of those same people still think of themselves as journalists and provide constant back-pressure.
Even for non-conspiritorial types, this was the most-overlooked aspect of the incident. The MSM was silent, of course. Many talk about the "pussification" of America and there's some merit to it, but this was a shining counter-example.
I doubt that it even crossed Kyle's mind that he would actually fire his weapon in defense that evening. In what world does anyone start trouble with someone holding a rifle? If you read up on him at all, he's a goody two-shoes, trying to be a solid citizen. He is 100% not the type to go look for a chance to do violence.
He also allowed himself to be separated from his friends, which tells us he had no awareness of any present danger to his safety. But then suddenly he's a scared teenager, all alone and literally fleeing for his life. He gets two KIA and one WIA, all while trying his best to break contact.
So what happens in America when it's organized groups of armed men, many of them ex-military, outraged and completely fed up at what they've witnessed over the last few years and decades? Sometimes conspiracy theorists claim, "Oh, they're trying to provoke citizens into violence!" Maybe, but that seems absolutely insane. If that ever happens, and I'm not saying it can't, I think any armed civil unrest would be very brutal and very short.
You surely agree with the Pentagon, but I was going by this (from two weeks ago): Pentagon says Ukraine can 'absolutely" win the war. I'm no expert but how can you win a war if you've lost 91% of equipment?

The incident came when the damage due to rioting was really ramping up, and people were taking up arms to protect property, both their own and others. They had to put a stop to the "rooftop Koreans" phenomenon which had been so effective.
There were two important reasons. First, They needed to make an example of a 2nd Amendment type. He gets his ass killed and then They can play it many ways: it was his own fault, he incited, assailants were justified, looking for trouble, etc. Suddenly no one wants to follow that example. Second, They had to have a "safe space" for the rioters They Themselves incited. Cities won't burn themselves down, and you can't get rioters if a bunch of them get shot.
As you can see, it worked out just dandy for Them even though Kyle didn't actually get murdered. Was there even a single instance of armed self-defense by a citizen through all the rioting? I'm not sure the cops ever even pulled a gun on anyone.
I wrote up couple of analyses of the incident showing that it was, without doubt, a murder plot involving several people. They were probably not targeting Kyle specifically, just anyone bearing arms to defend property and Kyle just looked like an easy mark. Gaige should have got a very special kind of injection, the kind offered for free by the state in very special circumstances, and in front of a set of witnesses.
The analyses were (of course!) severely de-boosted, but here's the shorter one about a less well-known aspect (and you'll find out why it's less well-known)L There was a conspiracy to murder Kyle Rittenhouse that night, and Joshua Ziminski was involved. If you don’t agree, at least tell me which Joshua Ziminski was not involved.
As I've studied it, when you take a close look at all the warmongering throughout Europe, all the NATO countries are actually dragging their feet. Anyone with sense knew it was over Day 1. They send old, cruddy, non-functioning weapons, etc. The Poles knew they were never going to see those MiGs again, so they had to be offered free planes from the US to even go along with it.
Even in the worst warmongering states like the UK, Poland, and Germany, it's just a handful of people. It's especially apparent in Germany, where they're not going to come out and challenge the party line, but they'll say, "Uh, our whole deal is going to implode if Russia shuts off the gas, dummies. It's bad now and will get real super bad."
I see it all as some reason for optimism in these troubled times. Couldn't we all use some?
He certainly seems determined to take control of Twitter, and "They" certainly seem determined not to let him have it. Elon was obviously one of "Them" at one time, but no one seems to want to examine the thesis that he was "turned" some time ago. But I will admit that loudly expressing opinion as fact is much more convenient than research, analysis, and discussion.

Here, the writer flatly admits the U.S. and its allies have no hypersonic weapons (however implicitly defined) comparable to those of the Russians, which have now been used in combat several times. The Chinese.systems are already being tested.
IIRC, after several US failures, the Russians offered to share their operational hypersonic technology, recognizing its destabilizing character. The US turned them down, I suppose because huge defense contracts aren't awarded when someone just hands you somthing.
I would say so, yes. In fact, the Russians went farther than I thought they would. When they said "demilitarization", I guess they really meant it. This was three weeks ago:
