I just watched a documentary on the debunking of the "Out of Africa" theory adopted by the UN in the 1950s. It talked about unanswered questions, such as the Rh negative syndrome. There are theories that humans have many different origins and are hybrids of different hominids, not simply just homo sapiens sapiens. Facinating.

I saw the documentary about scanning the pyramids. It is crazy how they can detect the additional voids using muons. I have been following this science for a while.

I think this time we should start with a TOP down approach to climate change. Let's start with giving up private jets, 2nd, 3rd, 4th homes (there is a homing shortage after all), and on down the line. They can get rid of their gas guzzling car collections, closets full of clothes they will never wear more than once, and extensive shoe/handbag collections.

Then companies can start with reducing waste by ending little guy soul crunching bonuses that lead to the acquisition of more useless stuff.

They used Democracy as a shield to hide behind as they fought for control of oil.

There have been studies where the gray matter of gay men's brains more resembles the gray matter of female brains.

It is my belief that being gay (attracted to the same sex) is something that is a result of biology during the formation of the fetus. It could be simply benign exposure to vitamin deficiency of the mother or father, or genetic error or directed exposure (poisoning) due to outside contaminants. Either or, something goes wrong in the fetus.

As for deviant behavior, from a male perspective I would attribute it to male biology, men are designed to be predators. Male on male sex is more about a power struggle and predatory behavior than it is about love, comfort and security. The model for gay male sex is conquest, one after the other, which naturally results in the spread of disease.

No, but likely it can activate the nature of it, similar to MS. There could be triggers that activate the behavior in men. It could very well be benign and result in a more feminine behaving man that is hetero or may have bisexual leanings.

I have yet to see any study like it since and it was 20 years ago that I saw it. Likely any real research into the matter was quashed as a threat to the woke idea of being gay and it is not a "being gay is the result of a malformation of grey matter in the male brain" thought process. Just like the reality that trans males are really just men who have sexual fetishes for dressing like a woman and are not really a "woman".

I remember reading an article 10-15 yrs ago where they detailed the brain structures of gay men vs heterosexual males.

The article showed how the grey matter in the gay male brain more resembles the grey matter of a woman's brain than a hetero male brain.

The surmised that the reason for the same sex behavior is related to the physical brain structure. They were not able to provide any opinion on what and whether there was a cause for the difference (i.e. birth defect, genetic mutation, chemicals during pregnancy, etc).

So I believe that the preference for same sex is definitely beyond a simple social decision or exposure to a perversion or abuse. Those may play a part in whether same sex preference is manifested in the person's choices, but there is a physical hurdle that is part of it. This is why I think conversion therapy is a non-starter.
