I was afraid of that. Trying to keep it brief.
I have a hard time with punishing some low level worker especially when it directly leads to problems for us. But I think that is what has to happen.
Directly attacking the supply chain will hurt us directly. But if we want the system to change its gotta happen. I dont know of another viable way.
The situation reminds me of a scenario in a Robert A. Heinlein book. I think it was "The cat who walks through walls" but I sure could be wrong.
The main character found himself in a futuristic place. He was missing his leg from mid calf down, dont remember why. He woke from a coma to find he now had a complete leg. It was perfectly integrated and functional. It was his leg. It was harvested from a genetic clone. Later he is asked to do something that was the right thing to do. Something he would have done if asked. But it was said that due to his "gift" he should do the request. His response? Take it back, No? I didnt ask for it. Give me a saw ill do it myself.
I am not defending whats going on. And your examples are exactly right. They will hurt us. We are going to have to do things that hurt ourselves to change things.
Your expertise is impressive.
But Michael Chriton wrote about this in 2002
If your not familiar his books are sci-fi mostly - but they are extensively researched and footnoted.
Its not the anomalies they find, I love that stuff. Its the raging buttholes that wind up in out front. Of course the most outspoken are gonna get the most attention. But man, these guys attitudes. I dont think I have ever seen a flat earth post that didnt call anyone who didnt see things their way the most vial names.
I appreciate your info on this. I had no idea Romanian was such a straight forward language. Thats awesome.
I know just a bit of Spanish, French, Chinese and none of them are straight forward. Oui does not sound that way. Nor does pendejo.
In English Dick was a name first. A nickname. Then it became a euphemism for penis. Its that way for all the naughty names I am aware of. You wont find "Dick" in a medical book referring to a penis.
Legal meaning of words as you know and for others who dont. In law words do not mean what you think they do.
I agree english is retarded. Does it not apply to other languages? I doubt that. Romantic languages are similar in many way. But I dont speak any near fluently enough to know personally.
I am not saying these creeps are writing things that have double meaning. I think its just how this place works. It happens as a matter of course many times. Names though, seem pretty obvious. Might just be a smart ass pen name.
I would like to see a lot more people looking at the broader strokes with green language and big patterns.
Green language is worth noticing. Its often clearer than the stories. An odd name by itself is just interesting. But it happens over and over. Seaman was the lead reporter on Pizzagate. Oceangate spun the circus for a week or two for nothing. Ocena"gate" like all the other "gates" we have gotten that went nowhere except to distract.
It says there will be massive environmental disasters up to and possibly including entire nations being wiped from the earth. That is the entire subject of the paragraph. You have to take the whole paragraph in context. One word does not change that, it clarifies it.
