With everything going on in the world and everything we talk about on here my emotions are easily kept in check.

But the Musk situation infuriates me. The amount of red flags is extreme yet so many refuse to even consider he might not be a good guy because he posts memes.

It underscores just how badly people will fall prostrate in desperation for ANY kind of savior figure no matter how their actions may contradict their words - and that makes me realize we may not have enough people to turn this all around

My point was not to fear monger but to get at the idea that there's more to the fact that CNN is covering this than the story straight up and throwing out a possibility. It's funny that you have yet to refute anything but say I'm bad at "thinking", then go on to claim I'm the one getting defensive over my ideas. But that sequence of events only goes to prove my original point about what this place has become.

You clearly did not understand what I wrote at all if what you took away was that darpa needed to announce the technology for it to exist as I explained it has already existed for awhile and has even been in use on the Internet for years. However for your point to have any merit knowledge of such technology would probably need to be made widely available, because otherwise the blackmailing would still have value, since the idea behind the blackmailing is that it would destroy them in the eyes of the public.

Not good at what? Everytime I've made a point as to why a specific rationale doesn't jive you just make another one. Non-public AI technology had the ability to make deep fakes for years (hell the technology was somewhat public as people on the chans had been using them for porn for years), that is to say what I don't know of proof of isn't the existence of deep faking AI technology but rather that suddenly NOW is the time the US says to Israel to get bent because their blackmail no longer works, so the final point is possibly valid though highly speculative and the rest really don't fit. And instead of addressing any of the reasons why they don't make sense you would just create another reason. But I get it, this place was once an area for actual debate but now people just get extremely defensive over their ideas

I don't think there's any proof of that, and the fact we walked from "CNN employees are covering this to save their own lives" to "CNN is covering it because Mossad's blackmail on American deep state persons is now useless and the state has decided to turn on them as a result" makes this feel more like a reverse engineering to reach a premise you wanted than an actual logical conclusion

Why would the US be distancing themselves at this time from Israel?

I'd also note this is a much different rationale than we originally started debating. Though I'm still curious to dig further

What about all the whistleblowers over COVID? What about Assange and all the other countless whistleblowers? The fact that CNN is a propaganda outlet and has always been one, is at odds with the idea of them suddenly now finding their journalistic integrity over this specific, damaging incident. Especially when considering they could have chosen to have journalistic integrity about any number of other issues instead. With everything we've seen over the years, it's very difficult for me to make their previous actions congruent with their coverage of this story given such a rationale

This is like the craziness of the Nation of Islam, but in reverse

That doesn't exactly make sense to me. CNN is obviously controlled media and if there does end up being justice for the fake vaxxes they're sunk anyway. To think that they're having a change of heart on this issue specifically when they are under Jewish control, specifically for the purpose of saving their own skin, and not displaying this self-saving change of heart on a less damaging kind of story, just does not seem like an entirely cohesive view to me

Why is CNN reporting this? WW3 on the menu?

So you agree then you can't defend the position, you've heard people say it but you don't actually know the logic or rationale, it's just something that sounded good or something you wanted to believe. I don't need to know reality to understand that when Trump said things in his executive order like "Through unprecedented collaboration across the United States Government, industry, and international partners, the United States expects to soon have safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines available for the American people." That this is not a coded message about ivm and hxc, which were both already available and never distributed by the US government or industry unlike the vaxxes which absolutely were. Likewise the tons of times he said to get the shots, when he was shouting out specific brands - I don't need to know reality to know that there is no rational way to see that as referring to something completely unrelated when there is literally no context provided to be doing so.

I think it's important for us to examine where our beliefs come from and whether or not they're defensible

There's no way to support your original point in an intellectually honest way so you've chosen not to engage on that but grab onto a different point.

Trump was not referring to ivm and hxc when he repeatedly heaped praise onto the vaxxes and there's no way to rationally defend that idea, no one outside of the qultists will agree with you. I'm thinking deep down you know this and that's why you have made no attempt to defend but rather have diverted

Before, Donald Trump was supposed to be the last president according to the "Last President" book. Because the same author also had some Baron Trump time traveling books, some people believed it might be accurate that D. Trump would be the last president. So now like any good doomsday cult we're going to reinterpret the information and completely throw out the previous understanding... And like any good doomsday cult those that are bought in will not question it

That was one of the insane things that got me into bad standing at GAW before eventually being permabanned due to a post about Milei visiting a rabbis grave

There is no intellectually honest way to believe every time Trump fluffed up the COVID shots he was actually super secretly referring to ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, but they persist in that belief anyway because though they generally profess Christianity, Trump is their god and Q their prophet

All those people who talked a big game about wanting to bring illegals in can now put their money where their mouth is.

Unfortunately it's still a huge loss overall because no one is actually getting rid of these people

A PC can be used more for productivity whereas phones and tablets are just for consumption or at best the generation of brain rot over sharing content. It's no surprise why society is shifting in one particular direction

To be fair there probably are kids who don't know what computers are anymore because they're all just using smartphones and tablets. I run across kids and teenagers who have absolutely zero understanding of anything technological aside from how to use their favored apps despite being on their devices constantly

Indeed, as I explained I do know people who specifically took it because Trump said it was good and safe, that is a fact there are people who took it because Trump said it's good and safe. You may choose not to believe it or to intentionally conflate broader rationale with more specific concrete occurrences to keep from needing to have a conversation.

Continuing this exhibition for no real audience allows you to keep up a facade of intellectual superiority instead of engaging directly, I'm sure you'll make one last useless reply because you are the type who can't resist the last word. Have fun with it

Sorry if contradicting the enormous benefit of the doubt you've given Trump made you big sad. You could acknowledge the fact that there are people who took it specifically because he said it, or you could acknowledge that it was an entire blitz of messaging from every direction that coerced many into taking the shots. Presumably you lived through that time and observed it, but perhaps that's too big of an assumption to you as well.

What Smith was referring to was how people who did take it due to his influence would deny it because they, much like yourself, can't bear to cast any aspersions against beloved Trump

Trump's whole shtick with the vaccine is very revealing, but could he be saying here that RFK doesn't really believe what he's saying vs that he's wrong in his beliefs?

Either way we know Trump fluffs the shots every chance he gets but still, we should try to be accurate
