A couple of my favorite bits of this charade (so far) came from this article:

'Operation al-Aqsa Storm': 300 Israelis killed, 1,452 injured in surprise Palestinian attack (PressTV 10/7/2023)

"We decided to put an end to all the crimes of the occupation, their time for rampaging without being held accountable is over," Hamas said.

So this comprises the battle plan they came up with in the 17 years since the 2006 Lebanon War? Well, let's just see how it's going:

Videos showed young Israelis fleeing in panic when Palestinian fighters raided a music festival in the desert.

Okay! Fuck both your genocide and your EDM, you Hebraic bastards! What a joke.

Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.

Whoa, a jerk who runs social media for a Department of State office called for restraint from violence and even condemned it? That's a trip to HR for sure!

Hasn't this guy read any State Department policy ever? Violence isn't the right way, it's the only way.

What I would note about the video is the baffling nature of the outcome of the engagement. There appear to be numerous authentic dead IDF and dead Palestinians. But....

Did no one emerge victorious and maintain control of the site? Were there no wounded to be treated and medevacced? Did everyone simply run away, only to return later when "the coast was clear"? The returning Palestinians shooting blindly through the door look like they had no idea what they were going to find.

Quick guess: Mossad arranges for an IDF raid on a small Hamas base. After a real firefight, moles within and/or other assets on scene make sure no one is left to tell the real tale I would guess external comms were jammed.

Voila, a Hamas-IDF war. If you want to make an omelette....

PS: I think it's worth mentioning that the Yom Kippur War broke out 10/6/1973, exactly 50 years ago. Yom Kippur, or the "Day of Atonement", is the holiest day of Judaism.

Maybe it was decided to be a fitting day for some of the lesser brethren to "take one for the team", and were sacrificed for a greater cause.

I haven't quite put my finger on it yet, but there's something deeply wrong about being a crusader for someone else's cause.

Of course, it sounds like a honorable thing" "I'm standing up for people who can't stand up for themselves, because but for the grace of God, there go I."

What we're really seeing, though, is: "I'm the hero in a movie playing out in my head, and suffering people are actually just props on the set."

Maybe the difference is that if it was the first, you'd be willing to say it out loud if asked, but the second you really would rather not. And why would you ever want that movie to end?

What you're seeing is that facts themselves must give way to the narrative. And to back up another step, the narrative is one where the person promoting or participating in it is a hero of the story.

So one can see, there is a certain portion of the human population whose rational process begin with the premise that they are one of the "good guys". Then the simple result is that there are no facts or argumentation that can possibly lead to the conclusion that the premise is untrue.

To think otherwise would be irrationality itself.

I'm fairly certain that by "incredulity", McLuhan meant "unwillingness to believe", but if you look up the definition of the word, the other primary meaning is "inability to believe".

The lack of that ability is, I believe, at the heart of the matter. Could someone lack such an ability, like some sort of intellectual cripple? What would that mean, precisely? Is there an actual mechanism at work? A defect in your leg makes you a physical cripple, so is there a defect in consciousness?

McLuhan hit the nail on the head but his hammer had no force behind it. If he had had these questions, he certainly would have amplified and followed up on them.

Well, you know what gets me is the "Prophecy of the Popes". I mean, (pardon my language) holy shit, is that thing right and is Francis really going to be the last one?

My mind isn't easily blown, but if that comes to pass, yeah, that would do it!

Things are getting weird. The pressure just keeps on building.

When I was a child, if someone had told me something like this would happen in my lifetime, I would have laughed right in their face.

To hip those who may not have come across this, the word "orgy" comes from the Greek word "orgia", and it turns out it's not really about boning:

Orgia may have been earlier manifestations of cult than the formal mysteries, as suggested by the violently ecstatic rites described in myth as celebrated by Attis in honor of Cybele and reflected in the willing self-castration of her priests the Galli in the historical period. The orgia of both Dionysian worship and the cult of Cybele aim at breaking down barriers between the celebrants and the divinity through a state of mystic exaltation:

Violent secret rituals aimed at communing with "the gods"? Never saw that in any of my Pronhub searches for "orgy".

I'm reminded of that scene in "Elysium" where Matt Damon has to go talk to the HR robot or whatever it is. When he gets upset, the robot says, "Take these pills." When he doesn't want to take the pills the robot says, "Do I have to call the robot cops?"

Okay, okay, new plan by the Neo-Imperialists: "These sanctions are working great! The Russian economy is imploding! And that's why you're paying more for gas."

Not often I would say something like this, but someone who until very recently was in mainstream media took the words out of my mouth.

On a related note, Colonel Douglas Macgregor--for those familiar with him--is also a mainstream-adjacent type of guy and a few months ago he also said he thought there would be no election in 2024. I found it pretty shocking coming from a lifelong federal employee.

Oh, it was pure sarcasm! Hal Turner, that guy throws some strikes now and again, and of course we all roll gutter balls from time to time, but a lot of his stories ricochet into the pro shop or sail into the bar area.

On a serious note, I don't believe Russia would have ever started military operations in Ukraine if they believed there was a realistic chance it would ever come to a full nuclear exchange. All I can say here is that there's a lot that goes into that conclusion.

But they do make statements warning about it, especially Medvedev. And it should first be noted that these are warnings. When a dog barks to warn you off, he's doing you a favor. He's not going to bite unless those warnings are ignored.

Even these warnings, though, I see actually as messages to the populations of Western nations: "Your violent and aggressive leaders do not care about you and your nations. It's gotten very, very serious and you all need to wake up, stand up and do something about it as if you and your family's lives were at stake."

What's depressing is that even with a message like that, people are still too distracted and numbed out and beat down to care.

IDK if you'd be interested in this, but the whole issue has to be reframed because a deeper scam is at work (which of course will never be discussed by anyone in the mainstream, ever).

Starting in the early 1970's, productivity became disconnected from real wages, whereas they had--through the various mechanisms of free-market forces--always been highly correlated before.

The difference over the last 50 years is about 2.5x. That is, if you make $100k/year doing whatever, it would and should have been $250k. That's a real difference in lifestyle.

And the federal minimum wage at $7.25 would have naturally become just over $18/hr by now. Really, though, if "minimum wage"-type jobs ordinarily paid that much, the whole concept would have been abandoned.

But you see how deep the scam is? They've got people in the streets to "Fight for 15!" Fifteen? You can see now that 15 itself is a ripoff. People just have no idea--literally--how bad it really is.

A pretty good writeup detailing the "organized crime" against us is here:

A Look at the Dramatic Disconnect Between Productivity and Wages, and Now the Worm Turns (Winter Watch 3/22/2022)

Ah, okay, thanks for that. It's along the lines of what I suspected. And it's another variant of the same old psychological trickery.

They never say, "Okay everyone, here are the rules. You can read them for yourself and see that if someone does this or does not do that, they are in violation of the rules we all agreed to go by."

Instead it's, "What the hell are we going to do about these rule-breakers?!" Everyone subconsciously fills in the parts that aren't actually there.

You have to give them credit, it's subtle and effective.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! The State of CA arranged for that golden deal and now it can't wet it's beak? What sort of gratitude is that?

I'd say $12 has got to go to Big Daddy right off the top, then we can talk about the rest.

Well, in California they're going to have to pay this robot $20/hour.

Let it never be said that progressivism cannot solve every problem!

Well, the US military is not above blowing up other people's pipelines, among their other crimes and outrages, so I suppose if they're going to start sinking tankers, then that's what they're going to do.

Plus, if some tanker carrying Russian crude with western insurance had an "accident" of any type, would the insurer ever be allowed to pay out? I think that's the last thing that would happen. They've already proven they're not above swiping yachts because of the well-known crime "rich and Russian".

You're the one that can't stop replying, which I have seen as a sign of an NPC. But don't feel bad, NPCs are "people" too.

Let's all watch as I trigger this NPC one more time. It won't be able to help itself, poor unit! 3... 2... 1...

When you sort of back up a step, you realize that Rabbinic Babylonian Talmudic Sabbatean-Frankism has all been a long, long whitewash known as "Judaism".

Which is why Jews from Neturei Karta burn Israeli flags and in turn get told to fuck off and die by other Jews.

Has anyone here ever actually got gold on Reddit? It seems like the whole thing is a marketing scam, like the fabrication of "Instagram influencers".
