You should see all the "totally legitimate normal users" posting on this "event" over on r/conspiracy that apparently detest the very idea of conspiracy and anyone doubting the official narrative. I stopped examining such events a while ago due to sheer repetitiveness, and sought to take a more "meta" perspective.

Overall, the "cognitive infiltration" seems make up in volume and intensity what it lacks in cleverness and creativity. I actually see a real parallel between Hollywood as a media enterprise and the open air Hollywoodland we all live in.

Hollywood has been creatively bankrupt for a couple of decades now, so the tentpole moves all have marketing budgets as big as the productions budgets. They have to beat you over the head to generate any interest in them.

Similarly, these "events" are completely lame: derivative, uninspiring, plot holes everywhere, low production values. Marketing becomes key, which is where the mainstream culture creators (media and influencers) take over. And for the conspiritorial-minded, you'll see that they spin out a dozen narratives, often conflicting, from which you are free to choose according to your own biases and preconceptions.

There's no mainstream version of shills promoting, say, the latest MCU installment or Star Trek reboot. I believe that's because they are too readily identified by people alert to their presence. It's a strange sort of reversal where normies have it over conspiracists.

I have to call Tracey out on this: obviously in one country everyone is a brave freedom fighter protecting their rights and their country and ensuring their safety, and the other country is chock full of violent thugs and racist dirtbags who simply cannot be trusted. C'mon, man!

They certainly take a close, hard look with a skeptical eye when the evidence doesn't fit the political narrative. Try to find any skepticism whatsoever when it does serve.

Points, though, for even acknowledging it exists. They could have simply given it the old "unsubstantiated" and "no evidence" and "widely circulated Russian disinformation".

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think "They" are pushing (haha) you towards just buying cheap fentanyl on the street. There's an important point not be be glossed over, which is that not all the Founding Fathers were Freemasons, and there was a quiet struggle over management of the American Revolution and the resulting nation.

There was no Bill of Rights included in the original, and this led to a bitter dispute over ratification. They only got it over the top with promises of a forthcoming Bill of Rights, and that was later created by Madison, a protege of Jefferson, neither of whom were Masons.

There is some reinforcement to this idea in that John Quincy Adams created the third political party in the US, the Anti-Masonic Party, which indicates that there was conscious and vital opposition to them in those days.

If the Masons had actually simply been running the show, I suspect they would have put in place a constitutional monarchy (see Alexander Hamilton) and there would have been no Bill of Rights.

This makes me think of the great enigma of our time, a question seldom discussed: how in the name of Christ did the likes of Al Gore and DARPA ever let the Internet get loose in the world?

I have my personal theory as to how, but no way to produce evidence for it. For any that wish to here advance the thesis that, "iT's A tRaP!", then how silly you were to have fallen into it with the rest of us.

Try baking soda. I dissolve maybe 1/4 tsp (I don't even measure it) in water and drink it in the morning. I found this totally by accident.

I suffered from terrible allergies all my life, year-round. Sometimes I would take 10 of those Benadryl knockoffs in a day not to cure it, but just so that it wasn't unbearable. It wasn't on a schedule, just as I felt I needed one.

So one day I'm reading on the ever-reliable Internet about preventatives for gout, and one of the first ones is baking soda. Costs nothing, so I try it. I think that, yes, it did help with the gout but the attacks were infrequent anyway.

A couple of months into it, I noticed I was taking only one or often no Benadryls in a day. I haven't even carried them around in years, and I was paranoid about that before. It's rare I take even one now, but I'll just drink some more baking soda if I feel I need to.

AFAIK, it has something to do with blood chemistry, specifically acidity. All I can tell you is it changed my life for $0.80/box.

There was a lot of this type of talk after the dastardly, cowardly incident in September 2018 involving the Russian Il-20. Russia lost 15 servicemen but were very quiet about it, even in diplomatic circles. I think they had much bigger fish they were planning to fry.

I think Putin and the Russians have long planned for this time, perhaps from when he first came to the presidency or even before. Ukraine 2022 just happened to be where they crossed the Rubicon. They will pursue this until their goals are achieved.

As some small evidence, consider their response to Israeli attacks on Syria. Many wondered why Russia did not counter-attack, or even allow the Syrians to do so, when it was within their power. The consensus was roughly that this was because the Jew Putin was secretly in bed with the Zionists.

I never subscribed to this view for many reasons. Now I see clearly that the Russians were preparing for a much, much larger and vitally important conflict that awaited them in the future.

To be honest, I don't think it's really hubris at all. I believe they are by this point so deranged that all they do is unquestionably right, correct, and self-evident. And above all, it is necessary.

And if you think that's just some rhetorical overstatement, try to think of an issue when this crowd had any substantive discussion of alternatives, let alone internal dissension.
