I agree we don't live in a free market. Corporations are compelled to achieve the highest profit possible and that in itself skews the market. It takes discipline to bring about change and enough people will never be disciplined because they are net recipients of that manipulation. I wish I had the solution, but if I knew, I would likely be imprisoned
The price is always what the market will allow in a free society where you are not compelled to purchase, such as health insurance or housing where urban camping is prohibited

It was never mandatory with small construction companies and we worked the entire time without dying off (never even heard of 1 construction worker that died).
