It's said that we are in the 5th wave or age of civilization and poles shifts seem to be something that has occurred and will again. I believe they rise and fall, kind of like the cycle of life. Mu may have been earlier than Atlantis although I'm not sure
As for Mu I believe it suffered the same fate as Atlantis and sunk although I've read accounts of people connecting to actual entities who say they are originally from there. They seem to be from a higher density maybe 4th of 5th dimensional beings.
Thoth comes to mind when describing his life and times in Atlantis.
Edit: one theory is Mu was located in the pacific ocean and all that's left is Easter island. The rest is underwater.

It makes sense that a major adrenaline release to the blood stream injested by another would give off a high or euphoric feeling. They do believe that this will slow the aging process and there's been tons of testimony of its practice.
