Use of AI by HR IS discriminatory, as lazy HR allows AI algorithms to decide whether a resume is acceptable or not. Often, a company allows an outside firm to run the algorithm as a service, and so decisions are not made by the company but by the outside vendor totally automatically.
This often results in erroneous rejections. For example, there's a field in which I'm an expert where there aren't a lot of people available to hire. Yet I get rejected by AI resume screeners, very discriminatory, because I have worked for too many companies (rejected as 'job-jumper'!). No human, no HR person ever actually reads the resume. And so a person they need is blocked. How stupid is that?
There is no doubt some of that, but they also have some unrestrained pervs in their ranks. For either case, some subtle local action is needed, leaving no backtraces. A society needs to be safe for the weakest, the youngest children who cannot protect themselves. By the time the rule of law can be applied to known predators, it is too late. Previous civilizations generally did not put up with such harmful individuals. When one catches a predator actually acting on a child, it is important to act to prevent future acts.

On this one I have to say it is just a JPEG artifact in the image - the black item is is the exact same size as the JPEG grid. The way image compression works is that in some cases the color of a majority area of pixels within a block becomes the block color. We can see in the image that the blocks are pretty coarse size so the black of space background became the whole block's color.

General tech is in the start of what is at minimum a two year slump. VCs are pulling back. Parts manufacturers are being profitable in this even with shortages of product to sell. Parts unavailability depends on relations with China, and that affects the auto industry. However cloud continues to grow as industries adopt it. But cloud is limited by parts availability for servers and memory devices, and that will take two years to level back out and up. Micron manufactures in the US and thus has good prospects. Western Digital has missteps and may spin off its flash production. Samsung and Hynix are asian and doing okay.
Economy factors affecting crypto:
Food production will be a problem and it will make food prices rise. That in combination with gas prices and job losses will cut into people's ability to buy crypto. Inflation of the dollar should make crypto prices go up but these other factors all weigh it down.
