Alledgedly, he was given the option to joint the board if he limited his stock in the company to 14.9%.

Since he currently only owns 9%, and could join the board at no penalty, this suggests that he's planning to go over that limit.

And if he's going over 14.9%, why would he be going for anything less than 51%?

If the board/shareholders can't effect the kind of changes he wants (unbanning people, removing censorship) then who does? That's the person getting replaced.

Lol

I just read an article saying Ottawa is having to go through waste water and test people's shit because there are so few positive tests.

They have ten people in the hospital with covid and reported one 80 year old woman died.

But please, tell us about the big bad 6th wave.

For the love of God, please yes.

I sympathise (to a degree) with homeowners losing equity, but we all know the vast majority of equity in homes belongs to investment outfits.

A housing crash now will allow people who have been saving for significant down-payments (ie the people who should be buying homes) to get into the market before inflation destroys their savings while punishing those who are over leveraged (read: speculators).

Every single person should be planting victory gardens and composters this year.

The Canadian government is already destroying potato crops in the maritimes so potatoes are probably a good idea.

If you don't have land, dig up your local parks.

In countries like Canada, LGBT indoctrination is the norm in some schools and has been for several years

I can attest to this. In my kids' old school (before I pulled them out) there were rainbow flags in every classroom, all the way down to grade 1.

The politics are insidious and ubiquitous. Now when I walk past the windows are full of Ukrainian flags. And, of course, all the covid propaganda.

The net effect is that our next generations will be completely unable to compete with kids from countries with real schools and real educations. But at least they'll be entitled...

What would stop me, or any random asshole, from just trading bitcoin to Russians from their personal wallet? Isn't that the whole point of crypto?

This mini-wave is not a surprise for Dr. Doug Manuel, a physician and senior scientist at The Ottawa Hospital, who like other health officials predicted the increased transmission as restrictions were lifted and the Omicron BA.2 subvariant picked up speed.

It's not a surprise for anyone; it's flu season.

Every single spike in Ontario has happened at the end of December and the end of March, because that's when we always get sick.

"Health Officials" aren't surprised because they specifically timed the lifting of restrictions to happen right before a predicted spike. That way everyone immediately panics and demands more restrictions.

For the same reason they never lift restrictions in the summer, when there are no cases: people would stop caring about their shit if there weren't a panic soon enough. They lift things in the fall, just as school starts and the weather gets cold or the spring, when the temperature fluctuates.

It's all fear.

Ontario dropped our mask mandates on Monday.

Today, at the grocery store, over half the people were still wearing masks.

I hope they all get the full 10 jabs and good riddance.

Doesn't seem to be working.

Other than that first week, I'm seeing way more people flying Canadian flags (no one does this normally, it's a symbol of supporting the truckers) than the Ukarainian flag.

And it's everywhere. They think they cleared out Ottawa, all they did was encourage people to protest in their own cities. The convoy is actually in Toronto this weekend.

If you want peace, in a realpolitik sense, isn't the better move just letting Russia roll over Ukraine as quickly as possible?

These weapons will be used in guerilla warfare which will have many civillian casualties (see Ukrainian forces hiding in schools) and those perpetrating atrocities will never be found, much less held accountable.

Wow, I'm sure glad that decision is in the hands of politicians and not doctors...

Ontario is the same; the December spike was 4x higher than the next highest spike in cases, with 80%+ vaxxed. On top of that, the "fully vaxxed" were more likely, per captia, to get covid, be hospitalized, and die.

Science is pretty clear at this point

“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”

What do you do when your leaders, the very men tasked with upholding liberty, turn their back on it?

Maybe you could have heard all the people telling you this at the time if they weren't all removed from the public square...

So, first, these are words posted anonymously on the internet; they're not an attack, you're just a wuss.

Second, the right of him saying whatever bullshit he spouts is the exact same right that gives you the opportunity to criticize him.

The only time I would ever support censorship is if someone were just spamming white noise to disable any and all conversation, because that's actually an attack on this right yet again.

If you can block him, just do that. You sound like an SJW.

Translation: We were going to stage a false flag bio weapon attack in the Ukraine (or Eastern Europe) but Russia pre-empted us and people are noticing too fast so we have to explicitely state that Russia will use our bio weapons for their attack.

More like "if you don't cough and sneeze, not enough virus leaves your body to infect anyone else".

3
WeedleTLiar 3 points ago +3 / -0

Buy the dip.

It's not like they'll leave the networks down forever, this is a scare tactic to get people to accept austerity under the guise of Russian warmaking when it was actually caused by huge debt due to virus spending. In a few years energy prices will come down (or inflation will catch up, or new tech will nullify the loss etc) and things will go back to "normal".

Except that state governments will be trying to roll out their own crypto.

Russia has also started cracking down on independent news outlets over their coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, blocked several social media platforms in the country, and introduced a far-reaching censorship law that will jail sharers of “misinformation” for 15 years.

So Russia is actually more "democratic" than Canada?

2
WeedleTLiar 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because people are their leaders...

Russians are just like us, but whiter. They work to take care of their families and get shit on by their leaders.

Putin is a jew tool, Zelensky is a jew tool, international communism is a bolshevik/jewish conspiracy. The people get fucked because they're weak.
