It doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that Adam was the first man.
It is entirely consistent with Genesis for God to have created "men" who were basically human shaped animals with no concept of Good and evil, and then created Adam and Eve whose descendants (the Isrealites) carried the original sin and eventually produced Jesus Christ.

Everything she says is in bad faith, which is why I always second guess myself when I find we are making the same point. Edit: My friends and I used to code websites, in raw html, for fun back in the late 90s. The only "downside" is lack of reach but that's exactly what makes them hard to subvert. The technical details of setting up your own systems are trivial.
