When I was a kid, we had the DARE program and got many lessons about the dangers of drugs.

When you think about it, why do soldiers and police offers do the things they do? It's because they know they've got plenty of backup. For the sake of debate, a quick search says that 60% of police officers in America are white, 18% latino, and 13% black. For the military, it's 57% white, 16% black and latino, and 4% asian.
Since you said it's not necessarily about police/troops, we'll talk about white citizens in general.
If the video taught us anything, is that you won't fight back alone or even with a small group, so you need a network. And not just a network because even millions of protesters on the streets are scared of 20 authority figures, as we've seen in France and Canada. So, basically, you need a military of your own. A quick search reveals that a PMC like Wagner Group has about 20k troops. And those are men who do not necessarily have possessions or even families and everything is provided to them by their leaders. In other words, they have less to lose than the average citizen.
I'm not gonna ask, but I would bet my bottom dollar that you don't have the network or are anywhere near close to organizing, nor would they have the testicular fortitude to lay their lives on the line when the time comes, because it will most certainly mean dying for what you believe in.
