"Having strong beliefs that are not shared within the community" - this assumes the majority is alright and doesn't deny reality. This is not applicable to our times where it's been proven beyond reasonable doubt that the government has acted against the civil population. Even normies accept that. Google is the ministry of truth.

God bless you, brother! You are a proof that apologetics work and that there are still people with open hearts and minds who will listen to the truth just like 2000 years ago. I was convinced to accept the faith despite being a militant atheist in my younger years. Once you see it, it cannot be denied. It flips the world right on its place and it's no longer meaningless and absurd when you understand God is behind it all and He want's you to partake in His uncreated glory and become like Him (through theosis). As the Church fathers say: "God became man, so that man can become (like) god".

Make sure to check out the orthodox youtube sphere: OrthodoxEthos, Kyle, JayDyer, Church of the Ethernal Logos, Fr. Spyridon Bailey, Patristic Nectar, Orthodox Wisdom, harmony. Most importantly find a good church around you, attend a service and speak with a priest there to become a catechumen.

That's all it is. But knowledge isn't faith based, it's logic based. Scientific method supercedes mans invention of it, it's just proofs. God cannot be proven. Faith is by definition, belief. I work with what can be known, and it just opens more unknowns.

How is the scientific method and the laws of logic proven itself? They must exist in some shape or form that is provable by sense data, right? Everything is ultimately faith based including your belief you can gather knowledge through induction and empirical observation.

“It’s a Cover Up...It Should Be Terrifying for All Americans.”

Idk, it sounds like "don't forget to be afraid, people". It also hints that Russia may be behind it and could be used as justification for war. The "whistleblower" is probably part of the psy op. Mockingbird is always up and running.

Yes, well said. The obvious evil nature of the western elites and the degeneracy they push constantly on the enslaved masses is what turned me to Orthodoxy even though I was a hardcore atheist for many years before that. The plandemic laid it all bare and if I valued the truth I had to change my worldview. Orthodoxy has been exposing the jews as the children of Satan since the 1st century.

Here's a prophecy by St. Paisios of Mount Athos about our times written in the early 90's (yet another proof Orthodoxy is the true Church - it produces modern-day saints like him):

The Zionists want to rule the earth. To achieve their ends they use black magic and satanism. They regard satan-worship as a means to gain the strength they need to carry out their plans. They want to rule the earth using satanic power. God is not something they take into account. One sign that the fulfillment of prophecy is near will be the destruction of the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem. They’ll de¬stroy it in order to restore the Temple of Solomon which used to be on the same place. In the end the Jews will pronounce the Antichrist messiah in this rebuilt temple.

The rabbis know that the true Messiah has already come and that they crucified Him. They know this, and yet they are blinded by egoism and fanaticism.

Two thousand years ago it was written in the Book of Revelations that people will be marked with the number “666.” As Holy Scripture says, the ancient Hebrews laid a tax on the peoples they conquered in various wars. The yearly tax was equal to 666 talents of gold. (1 Kgs 10:14: the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold-, and 2 Chr 9:13: the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold). Today, in order to subjugate the whole world they’ll once again introduce the old tax number linked to their glorious past. That is, “666” is the number of mammon.

Everything is going as planned. They put the number a long time ago on credit cards. As a result, he who is not marked with the number “666” will be unable to buy, sell, get a loan,or find work. Providence tells me that the Antichrist wants to subjugate the world using this system. It will be foisted upon people with the help of the mechanisms which control the world economy, for only those who receive the mark, an image with the number “666,” will be able to take part in economic life.

The mark will be an image which will first be placed on all products, and then people will be compelled to wear it on their hand or forehead. Little by little, after the introduction of ID cards with the three sixes, after the creation of a personal dossier, they’ll use cunning to introduce the mark. In Brussels a whole palace with three sixes has been built to house a central computer. This computer can keep track of billions of people. And we Orthodox are resisting this because we don’t want the Antichrist and we don’t want dictatorship either.

Here's the whole text, it's worth the read. He prophesized "a great war between the Russians and the Europeans": https://apantaortodoxias.blogspot.com/2015/06/on-our-times-st-paisios-of-holy-mount.html

There are psy ops, endless wars, false flags and controlled opposition in 1984. The resistance to the party was led by the party itself.

Wow, really? We did a 180 degrees here. I'm very glad you'll be looking into Orthodoxy because it is wholesome and old tradition indeed and we don't worship a man like the RC do with the pope. Make sure to go visit a service sometime and see what it's about. I didn't mean to be an asshole but I get worked up in arguments.

How come it speaks different things to different people? If what you're saying was true and everything in the Bible was self-evident without the need of interpretation, everyone would be in agreement about the Christian faith and doctrines and there wouldn't be 1000+ denominations.

The Living Word of God is Jesus (John 1). See? Even in this instance you can't escape interpretation.

Am I about to find out you are in some fringe cult

The "fringe cult" is literally the historical apostolic Church that Jesus established and that has kept the living tradition intact for 2000 years - the Orthodox Church. I believe and practice what the early Christians did. What you're saying here (Sola Scriptura and such) is relatively recent development at the time of the Reformation. You basically accept there was Christ and His apostles, and then some 15 centuries without real Christianity and Church before Luther came and spawned the various Protestant denominations that rejected all authority besides the Bible (never mind that the Bible canon itself was compiled by the ecumenical councils of the Church, i.e. "man's authority", which destroys the whole position).

I'm not Catholic, you idol worshipper (you worship a book instead of the living God and you don't follow His testament which is to eat His body and drink His blood to be in communion with Him). Catholics seceded from the one true Church in 1054. Papal supremacy was a later developed doctrine and wasn't how the Early Church of the first 1000 years was governed. Then your given protestant sect seceded from the Catholics during the reformation instead of coming back to the true historic Church.

Does the Bible interpret itself? How come there are countless different interpretations out there from every single denomination and even from person to person? Almost as if... they interpret the text because it's inevitable to do so when reading it.

Now that this is out of the way ask yourself - is there a correct interpretation and one truth or is everyone right for themselves even if interpretations contradict each other?

They knew the Spirit is with them because they were the successors of the Apostles who received the Spirit on Pentecost. Otherwise you're correct.

Just like they were inspired at those councils to give us the infallible Bible cannon and the creed, they are inspired in all their deeds, including the correct interpretation of the Bible, because they are the true Church. And those same patriarchs discerned Christ was born on 25th of December.

Did God handed down the book to you or did it grow on a tree? Do you know what the Bible canon is and how it was decided what texts would go into the Bible? Or when was the Bible compiled and who kept it for centuries so that you can eventually get a printed copy? Do you know anything about Church history at all? Do you understand how stupid and unjustified Sola Scriptura is?

The Church tradition preceded the Bible. Christianity is a living tradition, the Church is the body of Christ indwelled by the Holy Spirit Christ sent to the Apostles on Pentecost. The Bible is a liturgical text of that tradition, not a book you read in your closet and interpret on your own.

To answer your question, the early Christians celebrated Jesus's birthday on the 25th around the 3rd c. and eventually the Church accepted the date officially after it was confirmed by scripture itself. Here's what St. John Chrysostom wrote about it:

John the Baptist was conceived during the Feast of Tabernacles (23 September). According to Luke 1, Annunciation was 6 months after that on 25 of March + 9 months of pregnancy = 25 December.

"Where does the Bible say..." is a stupid argument because not everything is spelled out there. The same argument is applied to Christ not being God because "He never said so" or God not being Trinity because the word is not in the Bible. It's all there but you need to be able to interpret it correctly and the only true interpretation is within the Apostolic Church that Christ established.

That's a big one too. I've heard people talk about the book (I think it was Jay Dyer, he wrote a book on Hollywood too) and I'm aware of what went on in LC. I will definitely add it to my vault, thank you.

I did a lot of digging into the 60's counterculture movement and pop culture and I was a huge Dylan fan (still am I guess). I know about the Mamas and the Papas too. They were all pretty degenerate and wild even by today's standards. Crowley's name and face pops up everywhere too - the Beatles, Dylan, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors. Jimmy Page bought Crawley's estate and lived there. Later bands like RHCP were Crowleyan too.

This is a great book on the occult roots of feminism. Chapter 8 deals with Parsons and Hubbard and their Babalon working - his plan to conceive the Antichrist via his feminist mistress: https://www.scribd.com/document/707564745/Rachel-Wilson-Occult-Feminism-The-Secret-History-of-Womens-Liberation

That was a jab at you saying "our religion". I don't believe we share a religion too, fren. My religion is Christianity within the historic apostolic Church Christ established. You know, teh Church that gave you the Bible you do freestyle interpretations on.

First they took Santa Klaus from us, now they want to take our space mythology brought to you by Crowleyan degenerate Jack Parsons, baddie turned good Werner von Braun and oddball eastern European director Stanley Kubrick. Going to the moon is a cold war propaganda pipe dream and no one before that needed to feel good about themselves so who cares besides soy-infused scientismo goobers who trust the Science (triple boosted) and follow NASA on reddit?

I'm pretty convinced it's fake and Russia knew it from the get go but here's a tough question for every boomer out there: why didn't they say anything until now? If USSR and USA were indeed in an arms race and were sworn enemies, why didn't the ruskies expose the fake Apollo missions when they used every possibility to attack American culture and progress in their propaganda?

I have the answer here: because the cold war was just as fake and gay as the space program. There was a war but it was an enormous psy op waged by the transnational technocratic elite against the populations on both sides. They freely shared scientists and technologies under the guise of espionage. This is what Orwell wrote about but most people are too dumb to understand. The great postwar America Trump talks about was a psy op and a giant experiment. Kennedy was in on it too but people like Greg here fawn over that shill just because tptb got rid of him due to internal conflicts.

I know about gematria and I don't care much for kabbalah or Pythagorean mysteries. My argument is that meaning is not found in names but in the concepts they point to. Names aren't arbitrary too but there isn't some secret numerical code to crack behind language to get to the ultimate meaning. This is reductionism. Meaning and truth is in the Word, who is Christ, the Logos and it is holistic. This is not to say there aren't deliberate codes in some texts like in Revelation and the number of the beast for example. But its a whole other thing to argue language is constructed that way.

Time is relative, just not to man.

What is time relative to then?

Newtonian mechanics is limited to the natural world obviously and Newton doesn't make claims about metaphysics. The problem with relativity and any modern "theory of everything" is that it rejects metaphysics on one hand but delves deep into it and tries to explain metaphysical concepts through physics (dark matter, ultimate nature of reality, the nature of time and space, causality beginning and ending of the universe, black holes). It has transgressed its limitations and went into philosophy and religion territory. This explains why much of modern science is tied to occult practices and movements like Thelema and theosophy (look at the origins of NASA and what Jack Parsons did).

Most scientismo spergs don't even realize this because they have zero knowledge of anything outside their field and think philosophy is a bunch of gobbledygook.

But I agree that general relativity can have some application. It's usefulness and profundity is vastly overstated though.
