To be honest, I'm with C5 on the flat earth thing. It does little for the Q movement's credibility. The shape of the earth has jack shit to do with the entities Q team purports to be fighting.
I can, somewhat more begrudgingly, understand shitcanning the chemtrails thing. Regardless of its validity, it does nothing for the movement, and is a sort of thing to deal with afterwards.
That aside, yeah, GAW's moderation has always been a bit on the shitty side. I've talked about it elsewhere in this thread. The dooming thing is usually the excuse they use with me.
Got a 32 day ban for shitting on the Trump-is-still-the-secret-president fanfiction. It's getting worse. I like the idea of GAW, but it's gotten slowly worse over time, and the last month or so it really seems to be going off the rails.
And your observations are mine as well. Too much bullshit is getting stickied, too much crap flooding. I have also been seeing more and more people complaining about the place. C5 and mods talk about wanting more quality posts, but I got a previous ban for pointing out that only the mods can sticky stuff.
Personally I think the place was a containment board / pressure release valve from the start. If C5/the mods haven't been compromised from the start they certainly are now, whether directly or indirectly, by way of receiving orders from above their pay-grade. (I received my first ban for theorizing on this)
It really disappoints me. I joined about 18 months ago and even then, while I spotted some of its problems from the get go, it was still a lot better than it is now. It was a happy medium between the 8kun boards and the highly moderated Reddit.
I know GAW really seems to have gotten crazy in the last week or two.
