You think she's lying about favoring big backs? Maybe but I'm not willing to bet my money on it.

Yellen specifically clarified that their priority for the backstop were SIBs so... that's clearly not your local credit union

Was just thinking about this today. I think it is actually a move to force the yield curve to change by causing the underwater institutions to shorten their horizon

Bond implosion. It's like trying to run the engines full speed while dragging an anchor. Something will eventually break.

Plus the attitudes now. It's like you have to beg them to get things they should be preemptive about. Example: extra plates for apps, napkins, water, etc.

I agree with the treasury direct piece- been noticing a lot of pull in that direction. I-bonds still paying close to 7%

lol don't worry - worse case scenario we'll just hyper inflate your currency

I could see this. Modern military power is essentially backed by silicon. Just as in every previous war, attaching the means of production is a part of the attrition strategy

It wasn't actually diluted. They added silver but jept it at .9999 pure - just as it was sold and marketed as. There's no scandal here urge than China trying to draw attention away from the fact they were literally hollowing out bars and doing them with tungsten.

Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't dress up one if they're own just so they could claim that "they're all Nazis" as they eagerly over generalize the legitimate anger that 98% of people feel towards pedos

You are stronger than you realize. The simple solution is not an exit. We will friend stronger and learn to root out or overcome. They wouldn't have to demoralize us if they could overcome us.
1 John 4:

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

This is a fairly clever solution imo but it's just a stall tactic to appease powerful depositors. The reality is the reason this bank failed in the first place is that they cannot unwind their positions due to lack of liquidity and a pull back in equity
