Remember that if you have flood insurance and you accept a payout for a total loss, you're not allowed to rebuild on the same location

I don't think prices are coming back down this time around. We've been backed into a corner

I knew you would have that answer and came here to upvote your comment. Otherwise, I would have skimmed right past this post

I vote. I advise others to vote. It's the lack of voting that gives them the greatest power

You might want to check that link I posted below. It's amazing how music and chemistry have similarities.

They don't need every member of a city council or county commission to be on board, just a 50%+1 majority. Local elections are easier to rig in my opinion. Some will be on board without needing to be bought, so they may only need to buy 1, 2 or rig 1 race

This deception is real and needs to be guarded against. The only good defense is to study your bible and pray for understanding

We (the US in particular) subsidize Israel with weapons and the Palestinians with rebuilding and wonder why neither side tries to find a solution. Neither side has an incentive. Cut off all money to the region and watch how fast they figure it out

I'm of the mind you're onto something more than I first considered. Thank you for keeping the info coming because I don't have time to research that with everything else going on in life

While I did vote for Trump already, it's not because I trusted him. I just trusted the options less, a lot less.

It's a bluff. The bluff works with big companies because they have a lot to lose and it's cheaper to settle. If someone who's broke makes claims, they can litigate, but that person can get disclosure and depositions. People with deep pockets would need to assist with the legal bills and finding an attorney who isn't afraid of what can happen.

Geologically speaking, very soon could be a thousand years away. Yes, it's almost time, but that could be well past our lifetime and that of anyone alive today

I don't think they'll have any impact on what people around here believe

Block grants to states should replace FEMA and let the Governors ask other states for help as needed. Perhaps even block grants to counties would be better

Most major cities have tunnels connecting various locations, it's a concept that goes back many many years and across the world.
