Anybody telling you that “this is it, the crash is any day now” is hardly worth the time.
I am not against prepping, but for example there were voices in the wilderness for years saying “the stock market is overvalued, it is going to crash!” Eventually it did, in 1929, 1981, and 2000, and 2008, etc. Anybody who timed it is either lucky or an insiders insider.
For how many decades has the looming climate catastrophe not happened?
It literally did happen, the financial one. Gold is 4x the USD it cost in 2019. Money buys nothing. Big stock numbers represent comparatively little real value. Look at land price? When's the last time you shorted a commodity?
Climate is not the same argument whatsoever. Comparing apples to retrothrusters.
One of the biggest blackpills is seeing the cost of gold in USD since 1800 until now. You can see it remain relatively steady for over 100 years. And then around 1917 it just started to climb and climb.
In 1800, gold was $20/oz. In 1900, gold was $20/oz. In 2000, gold was $280 an oz. In 2026, its $4000/oz.
The best metric to peg to the dollar today is a chunk of energy ---- 4 kilowatt hours ≈ 1 pound aluminum ≈ 1 dollar today ≈ 0.3 gallons of diesel. This has been fairly stable for about 50 years now. Energy is a widely accepted universal barter.
Energy should be getting cheaper per KWh over the last 50 years. This is how the economy is supposed to work because energy can be manufactured. And a capitalist economy should be improving productivity over the years.
Gold cannot be manufactured. It's mined at a low rate, which keeps the supply low enough to avoid market saturation.
Food prices are going up, too. The economy is still undergoing stagflation.
I am comparing chicken little telling you the sky is falling for whatever reasons.
And the world economy has been in a global recession for years now. There is no difference for whatever your metric is.

Anyone telling you to do nothing in the face of obvious extremity is either a liar or is intentionally wasting your time.
To the extent that the crashes "don't happen" you live under crippling inflation and national debt. You're putting off these very real crashes by stealing from your children and grandchildren.
What was your point here? You're afraid and paralyzed and you don't want to feel alone? What a waste of words.
I'm telling you my point. Read it again, or don't, I care not.
I'm deciphering your intent. Like it, or don't, it's entirely up to you.
Not very well, it seems. I'll clarify....prepping is great, don't black pill because nobody knows when the next bad thing will happen for sure.
AND --- they totally missed the depression of 1921
The world economy is a Ponzi scheme, but the cleanest dirty shirt is still the US dollar. I definitely advise prepping because if an outright destruction of the world's economy happens, gold won't be worth very much. I know I wouldn't give up my limited commodities for a rock. That is a very unlikely scenario, but one day it will happen. Recession or depression is a much more likely scenario, but most people find something to eat even then. The way technology is progressing, there won't be anywhere to hide in the near future.

Why are you doing this? Mad Kalak isn't an alt of mine and I don't really understand why you're going off on him or me.
