Take a look at Shmuel I and Shmuel II (I Samuel and II Samuel) from the Torah/Bible and you will see that God was pissed at Saul, not for killing the Amalekites (men, women, children, and animals), but for sparing the life of their king and best cattle.
Modern day Israel likens Palestinians and Iranians to modern day Amalekites. Killing of men, women, and children is not only permitted, it's encouraged. Pictures of dead babies or innocent bystanders have little effect on Israelis because it's what God demands.
Now you know what you're dealing with. Israelis frequently use the term Amalek to justify their actions.
This is a very common misunderstanding of scripture. Right up there with Abraham and Isaac, is this situation looked at through modern morality and interpreted wrong.
God ordered a holy war on the Amalekites. Why? To punish them for sacrificing children to demon gods. The same as the Assyrians were used to punish the ever feckless Jews when they turned to idol worship.
Because it wasn't a war for resources, but rather a holy war, is why Saul was ordered to take no treasure. He thought, like many people, to skirt the letter of the law and reinterpret to follow the spirit of the law and offer some of the cattle as a sacrifice. Typical Jewish behavior even today.
God punished Saul with the loss of his kingdom by a just rebellion led by David for his disobedience. God also knew that Saul would disobey, and thus it was to teach the Jews and by extension all of us, a lesson.
The lesson isn't genocide your enemies, but rather OBEY God.
They are the real edomites from the Synagogue of Satan who follow only the Talmud, Zohar and Kabbalah.
They are the real amalekite abominations unto the almighty Creator in the flesh Jesus Christ!
I'm not sure I totally agree, but that's only from lack of understanding. That's to say, I don't know enough about this subject, but you may be correct and I'll keep an open mind. After reading about the sin of the Amalekites, it does look like a good possibility
