So if you’ve been using the internet since the auts, you understand the underlying issues surrounding the “dead internet theory,” AI is generating 50%+ of all content, the “Big 4” (Meta, Google, Apple, Amazon) or however many, funneling content into ecospheres and walled gardens, etc.
The internet was once a fun place with many websites to visit daily and get new, fresh perspectives.
I used to enjoy sites like ign, gamespot, and many low budget websites ran by a devoted webmaster/mod.
Every website now is garbage. Ign and gamespot have so many ads your browser crashes. Then, the content is pure slop— AI generated, or low-effort. Next, it’s pure paid advertising posing as gaming journalism, as in the case of MIXTAPE scandal.
I used to enjoy the internet, but i stopped using facebook, insta, snap, google, in 2020 and never signed up for tik tok.
So, what i’m asking this small conspiracy minded community is—- where’s the good shit?
Any sites you visit on a daily basis with good stuff? Any substacks or telegram channels worth following?
I follow whitney webb, and james corbett… But anyone NOT uploading to youtube or out there on the mainstream sites? Any good foreign language news or info with english subs or dubs?

The good stuff has gone behind pay walls. Early days, I could research any subject to find volumes of white papers, studies and archived books on everything you could imagine. It's becoming increasingly more of a challenge. It's my opinion that they are making the "junk" more accessible so AI will train on what they want it to know. I would be less likely to trust AI as time passes.
