I find this hard to believe. How much is a flight from anywhere to Florida, $5K max?

Couldn't anyone just hop on a plane and take this guy out? Wouldn't it have happened already if this shit were real?

Seems you're the only one thinking through it in here. Kudos.

There's definitely something to light at an angle being less direct, thus giving off less energy. I'm not sure the atmosphere takes that much energy away, although I am perplexed how heat from the sun makes it through cold frozen space. Maybe I'm thinking too hard.

They weren't the same planes that took off from the airports that day.

I'm just holding Bitcoin. There is no second best IMO.

It's digital gold. And it's the only one that will be classified as a commodity by governments who don't want to be left in the dark ages.

We're either blowing ourselves up, or being saved by Bitcoin.

Transactions can only be processed through the mining of new bitcoin.

You misunderstand. Transactions are processed by the miners. This happens as long as miners exist on the network. The "network" reward for mining blocks is projected to end around 2140, when 21,000,000 Bitcoin have been mined. These are decoupled processes, though. The network rewards happen after the block is mined. Mining/transaction fees will also still apply after network rewards go away, so the incentive to mine will always exist.

everyone will be left holding a valueless mathematical hash.

Another misunderstanding I'd like to correct. We hold the keys to access the value stored on the blockchain. Ultimately the value is all stored on the blockchain. You can lose your keys (access to the value) but the value is always there.

It's pretty neat.

Bitcoin expires in 2140.

Expires? What exactly do you mean?

Bitcoin 2021: $65,000 Bitcoin today: $30,000

Nice cherry-picking, see you next year when it gets over $300K.

By the way, Bitcoin was $4-16K in 2018. Better than gold no matter where you measure from.

It's not hard to see what's happening unless you are willfully ignorant.

You still have a single point of failure there. Dependency is the enemy.

I think you still have it wrong chief. You need to self host, bottom line. We got here because of dependency on shitty companies.

Y’all are still finding excuses to pay for garbage like Netflix?

It started getting hot in June this year, and the rain and humidity right now are unheard of. I’ve been all over the upper west.

Maybe it’s just me, but it really feels different this year. You never felt the heat because it used to be so dry.

Colorado may have record rain, but the heat is concerning. Normally it doesn't get very hot until the end of summer, and not for long at all. I am very concerned this heat/rain cycle that Colorado has not seen in decades will go long into the fall.
