Is started in NOCs in the 90s. The DOD model was replaced with OSI before the public got online.

What you're describing is the creation and implementation of any technology. At first its used by its creators which is generally the wild west period. Then it's taken over by the general public where its regulated and monetized.

The internet was especially touchy since early users did major damage spreading viruses. Changes to keep it the internet o Online where made quickly to fix the issue of the general public destroying everything.

I've seen people blaming Trump but I've never seen an explanation.

Wouldn't the more recent protests be more relevant than orange man more than 3 years ago? I'm not even looking at the idea this was a legitimate failure for this thought.

IIRC it was tested in the 80s. The church wasn't happy with the results so they have refused further testing and continue arguing the tests were flawed while refusing further studies.

The fact they hide the thing tells us all we need to know.

I tell people that WWE is the template all sports follow. They don't pay attention because there are no obvious monologs and acting while the camera is turned.

When I said this recently a gambler in my office pointed out that the guy who had the recent heart attack did so during a game that may have broken ohios new betting system and that it was. Too coincidental that the game ended like that.

On a side note, people blow a lot of money gambling on sports. Its insane how normalized its become.

I would add boomers staying at jobs through retirement as part of this. I'm seeing this with my parents. Move to big city, make big money, now can't afford to retire cause cost of living and insurance is to high so you plan on working till 70.

Now the current generation is having inflation problems, inflated house prices they can't afford, a rental market that destroyed the single home market, and a myriad of stupid social causes being pushed. Now the boomers aren't retiring making upward mobility harder....

For the most part it is. If you collect all data you end up with a needle in a haystack problem. The answer is to aggregate everyone onto a common system like social media. Then you can monitor/manipate within a controlled environment. It's even easier when you make authentication APIs and ask user to log into their account on every other website...

If you're concerned about vendors you need to go open source. Only so much can be done against MS, Google, and Apple "analytics".

Personally I saw a lot of breast milk sharing during the government shut downs. Moms will join groups to store and share natural stuff for their children. No formula means moms who can't breast feed gotta find something somewhere.

I once saw a 4chan post where someone was "in the know" and that the goal is to get everyone to overthrow their government when the outcome of the shots is obvious In a few years.

I don't believe the source, but the argument is interesting. Screw everything up, kill a lot of people, then offer a one world government as a solution.

It's the same with the formula and other kids products. They've been either out of stock or very low inventory since 2020. Foe my current baby we've had trouble even finding baby lotion.

Early 2000s one employee got thrown under the bus for faking articles. They've always been lying trash. Keep going back and you'll keep finding more.

Clot Adam's - I took the clot shot for the right reasons but the data was bad. You refused the clot shot because you're a stupid piece of shit. You're still wrong..

He also stuck his neck out with Lyn Wood and the kraken lady after the 2020 election. It was obvious he didn't know anything and was doing it for clout.

I work in a place where most people did not take the jab. Last week we had our first young coworker die of unexpectedly. I asked point blank if he was jabbed and the room went silent. Eventually someone said that's an inappropriate question. I told them it was even more inappropriate when the government locked down and fucked the middle class. We deserve to know how nad the experimental mrna shot is affecting people.

Tldr people are afraid to address reality and want to move on for fear of what might be happening. They'll use the usual npc talking points to avoid it.

It's like the flu. It can be really bad on young children so they are careful with it.

I'm of the belief that the system is rigged across the board. We knew the Reps would get just enough of a lead to put them in charge but not enact any change.

The only thing they continue doing is laundering money through places like Ukraine.

This has come up repeatedly since the early days of using satellites to deliver news feeds to the early ISPs.

If someone was going to conspire to damage the internet while maintaining control you could use a worm as an excuse and just say it's causing BGP flaps or attacking the root DNS servers. Both have happened and have taken down internet routing and DNS. Solar flares would be too hard to control and a lot of high end equipment or the buildings there in can protect against large scale emf already. There's too much redundancy and already prepared ISPs that this would be corrected in a moderate amount of time.

Source - I used to work on ISPs and have had the solar flare conversation, people are mildly prepared already and aware of it.

I can't attest to what he is specifically talking about but my quiet rural area had a glut if homes not selling that have all become rentals. A lot of them owned by older individuals looking to make some extra cash. The law changes for covid and tenants not paying have created a very bad situation for these people and I expect the housing market will blow up with people trying to get there money back as homes lose value.

If there's a larger bubble happening them it will only screw everyone over faster than what I'm already paying attention to.

You can only define if it was hacked if we could see a topology defining how the internal systems work and communicate with each other and how an outsider might go about accessing those systems. Till we see that info the most likely answer is no.

Given the size of the ship and the notes about old tech there's a better chance it wasn't hacked based on the old systems. You may say to yourself Win NT is old and out of date so it's easy to break into. But you're forgetting that it would take extra effort to hack that system due to it being out of date Libraries or old code bases required to build code on those systems would be harder to get. It would be similar to trying to hack an AS400. It's doable, but it's too much of a niche system to focus on it. You would be better focusing on something current like the parent companies corporate network, not the ship.
