A lot of them owned by older individuals looking to make some extra cash. The law changes for covid and tenants not paying have created a very bad situation for these people and I expect the housing market will blow up with people trying to get there money back as homes lose value.
If there's a larger bubble happening them it will only screw everyone over faster than what I'm already paying attention to.
