How can you even say that current temperatures are above pre-industrial levels if that wasn't even a thousand years ago? They're comparing apples to oranges and saying, in essence "Apples are only green when they're unripe, thr good ones are orange".
Sediment cores also completely fail to account for instantaneous phenomenon, like solar flares, asteroid impacts, and volcanic eruptions, which are significant factors to global climate.

That has always been the case. The issue is that the government is now killing people intentionally. They went from telling citizens that they were not allowed to take their own lives to deciding who lives and who dies based on the feeling of the immigrants we import to be doctors.
The government has no business getting involved in any of this. At most, they should waive investigations into deaths where the deceased has filed a clear intent to die with the local police.

If a social media company is a service provider for speech, fine. They should be shielded from liability so long as they take reasonable steps to remove illegal content. But, at the same time, they should be required by law to host legal content without discrimination.
If they want to pick and chose what stays up, they are, in fact, a publisher and should be legally liable for anything and everything on their website.
I agree, and I think this should clearly extend to software as well. If software is sold that requires access to a server, for example, and the company stops supporting it, they should be required to release the tech specs that would allow anyone to run their own server.
There was a huge push in the 2000s to equate patents/trademarks/copyrights as property, even though they're actual special government granted monopolies. That being the case, there should be some responsibility on those who the government grants these extrordinary legal rights.
While it would be nice if companies had to continue to maintain their products, I don't think that would be legally enforceable and it would be simpler all around to just release their monopolies and let people do what they like.
