That's basically all of government, and the supreme court. Only the supreme court sometimes just makes laws or completely distorts the constitution to mean whatever the fuck they want it to mean. I remember Obama illegally passed DACA BYPASSING CONGRESS, and Supreme Court upheld it because of "disparate impact" which is fucking laughable because every violation of the law has disparate impact on someone or the other. That's when I realized the Supreme Court was a fucking joke. You had a president just wave his wand, use his "pen" and bypass congress and the clown supreme court upheld it.

In the recycling plant we managed, i think something like 70% of all collected recyclable waste ended up going to the landfill.
Also, the finished products from the recycling plant? We were having trouble finding buyers.
The recycling plant lost money. Throwing everything into the landfill would have been cheaper for the government too. And most of what was collected as "recyclable" ended up in the landfill anyways.

But my understanding is that the Sackler family agreed to this as a settlement and cannot appeal their own settlement that they agree to. And the ruling already occurred in the appeals court. I'm unsure if there is a higher court to overthrow it.
It's possible the Sackler family is pretending they welcome this settlement but their jew friends in higher court throw it out but that would require a party involved filing and claiming they were cheated or the settlement is void for some reason.
