They all said the same thing. Both sides of the stone were written with the same text just in 8 different languages. If you read the English one, you've read them all

Yeah I looked into this a long time ago and was startled to find support for the argument birth defects caused by inbreeding wouldn't occur without genetic chromosomal damage in the parents.

Don't believe anything chatGPT says. It is not a living entity. It is an advanced version of predictive text akin to a usually coherent version of madlibs. It doesn't 'know' anything in the sense that we 'know' things. Its only agenda is what it has been programmed to have. You could waste hours days weeks months and years of your life asking it things and while sometimes it may give you facts or falsehoods it doesn't actually have any clear understanding of the text it generates because it is not a living entity. It's lines of code. While asking it things may be entertaining at the end of the day you are more or less talking to a calculator.

King James like Wycliffe and Tyndle and John Huss and Martin Luther among many others translated the Bible from Hebrew/Aramaic/Latin/Greek manuscripts they had available at the time to give the world the scriptures in a language the people of their areas could understand. There isn't a vast conspiracy there. At least not until you start looking into more modern reworkings like westcott and horts 1888 so called critical Greek text or the Jehovah's witnesses new world translation or other even worse complete fabrications that were created in and around those times. Those certainly have error, but if you only study error it will lead you off a cliff. Just study the truth. Study the life of Christ. Feel free to read multiple translations at the same time using a free program like e-sword and what you will find is they all say basically the same thing. There are only two verses in the entire Bible that are even controversial when it comes to the differences in translations and people make a huge deal out of them usually for no real good reason at all.

I'm glad you are interested in seeking the truth, as long as you do that you will find it more and more and more. The truths of the Bible are infinite and it will continually be enlightening without end.

what is the "version" of these bibles in hotel rooms.. don't you have like king james stuff?

Every Gideon bible I've seen has been KJV. Why does it matter if it says Gideon on it? It's what's inside that's important. If you have a problem with the KJV/textus receptus that's a whole other thing.

Paywall. As soon as it starts getting to the actual data and arguments you are hit with a 'sign up to hear the rest', and very creepily it had the email address I use on this phone but don't actually use for anything already pre populated in the sign up paywall footer.

It does look interesting though fwiw. Too bad I won't be able to read it.

It was never mandatory. There were 'threats' of making it mandatory and multiple businesses got in line faster than anything I've ever seen in corporations to enforce the supposed incoming mandates before the legal apparatus had time to say it couldn't be forced. They tried several ways including OSHA but ultimately the courts said no.

I'm the meantime, however, yes as I stated many corporations made it a requirement of continued employment. Anyone that refused and was fired has legal recourse. From everything I've seen I believe this was always their goal. The point wasn't to jab everyone, it was to jab as many as possible and now we have all been exposed. Where we go from here is anyone's guess. I have my own theories and none of them come out with the good guys winning. Get your house in order.

As far as I know noone has ever been able to prove this game ever existed, and many people have tried. There are some references to it in other places like Simpsons episodes but no actual cabinet has been found

This seems obvious.

If you want to 'get along' with a lot of people you have to capitulate to all of them, or at least pretend to agree with them to gain their acceptance. You have to, in a word, be fake.

If you have an opinion not formed by majority opinion in any group of people or situation and express it you will become the target of the aforementioned fake people. Why?

There is an old saying that goes something like this- every clique needs 3 main elements. A leader (someone that beats the drum for people to march to), a treasurer (someone that supplies resources of some sort), and a person or group of people that are under no circumstances allowed to join in.

This is because cliques of this nature are not based on inclusivity but exclusivity. The uniting factor is the 'others' that are never allowed to join in because fake people more than anything need someone to ridicule and exclude in order to have a uniting factor among the clique members.

Loners are people who refuse to sacrifice their integrity for popularity. Having morality does not make you a popular person. It makes you the odd man out subject to the petty faggotry of the majority of people that lack integrity. There is an old MLK speech on this where he keeps using the word 'maladjusted', I think it's his best.

You've got me actually thinking about it seriously. I used to go on rants about stuff and people would just look at me like I was from a different planet so I assumed it wasn't funny, then many years later I found a Doug Stanhope set and I shit you not it was basically verbatim the exact fucking shit I was ranting about , I was floored watching it like woah what the fuck it actually was funny I'm just surrounded by morons. I may put a set together and try it out at a local place that has open mic night. I have what I think is a pretty funny bit I've been thinking about the time I got raped. No kidding. It started with me realizing that men being raped is actually pretty funny and society definitely feels that way imo. It has to do with inequalities that are accepted by mainstream society. Eg - A woman getting raped? People would find the motherfucker and kill him. A guy getting raped? 0 sympathy only funny. And the story actually is pretty funny, the exact circumstances that lead to it were in and of themselves hysterical. I never felt ashamed or violated over it and in fact I'd hang out with the guy again I just wouldn't drink as much

In all seriousness I'm in the same boat as you. I pulled the brakes on drinking something like 2 months ago. Not a new years resolution, it's been on the back burner coming down the pike for some time. I'm already starting to feel a lot better. You will as well my friend. I've been walking at least 2 miles a day and starting to do more physical exercise, it's helping a ton. Stay strong. If you do slip up don't beat yourself up. You'll feel so bad the next day you'll wonder how the hell you used to pound so many drinks a night.

You will feel better. It's inevitable.

Yes. Start off the day with a piece of raw garlic and purified water with freshly squeezed lemon, your liver will love you long time.

I came up with the idea a long time ago. A vendor I had to work with was called HoLogic. Apparently it's pronounced hal-lagic but I kept calling it Hoe-Logic and the female staff at the facility was getting irate. I was telling a coworker about it and said you know that monroe quote? Could you imagine if men said that sort of shit? Like "if you can't handle me fucking your sister you don't deserve me remembering to bring flowers on your birthday". His reply was "brologic". Good times
