Don't believe anything chatGPT says. It is not a living entity. It is an advanced version of predictive text akin to a usually coherent version of madlibs. It doesn't 'know' anything in the sense that we 'know' things. Its only agenda is what it has been programmed to have. You could waste hours days weeks months and years of your life asking it things and while sometimes it may give you facts or falsehoods it doesn't actually have any clear understanding of the text it generates because it is not a living entity. It was never mandatory. There were 'threats' of making it mandatory and multiple businesses got in line faster than anything I've ever seen in corporations to enforce the supposed incoming mandates before the legal apparatus had time to say it couldn't be forced. In all seriousness I'm in the same boat as you. I pulled the brakes on drinking something like 2 months ago. Not a new years resolution, it's been on the back burner coming down the pike for some time. I'm already starting to feel a lot better. You will as well my friend. I've been walking at least 2 miles a day and starting to do more physical exercise, it's helping a ton. Stay strong. If you do slip up don't beat yourself up. You'll feel so bad the next day you'll wonder how the hell you used to pound so many drinks a night.
