Mormons are known to be world class preppers. I suspect they've built their own solar powered version of the internet using something like packet radio. They're doing something similar in Cuba, for example, and they don't benefit from the same infrastructure and wealth present in salt lake.

Tend to agree but keep in mind the number of funds that hold apple. Every pension fund and Miriam seems to own it so they benefit massively from all these passive "index buyers"

I've gone through a lot of his stuff and I'd say that generally I like it but that he also seems to have a confirmation bias so be careful. I don't always come to the same conclusions as he does when looking at the same data.

For instance: he claims everyone knew the cost of capital was going to go up in 22 due to boomers retiring. Umm, okay, where's the proof? It's pretty obvious to me that this was due to the supply chain scarcity and inflation.

Pharmacy companies pay physicians "stipends" for the service of pricing vaccines to their patients. That's what these payments look like to me. It doesn't look like large bribes. For example: if these were "speaking fees" and what not I'd be more concerned.

The single largest private donor to this "independent" fact checker is Robert Wood Johnson foundation. AKA the Johnson and Johnson family that owns nearly $2b in stock https://www.factcheck.org/our-funding/
