I read two books on this subject before the internet existed. If I could remember what they were, I'd recommend them, but it was easy to come to this same conclusion when reading about Jenner (and germ theory in general). When vaccines were introduced, they were widely denounced by the medical and scientific community, but the money-grubbing eugenicists latched onto them and promoted them "for the public good," with little to no regard to the causes of the diseases they were intended to prevent and eradicate. They're all meant to debilitate, kill and/or plant the seeds of disease and long-term illness.
