Why TF would they deny THAT?

WEIRD.

Did they deny it, or only deny that it was a secret?

Okay, this only got big because someone, I forgot the commentator, said Taylor Swift everywhere in media is an EXAMPLE of how the military-industrial complex could push a person or an agenda. He wasn't saying they were pushing Taylor specifically. The Pentagon responded for some reason.

It makes sense. For a while you couldn’t tune into any radio or news without hearing about her. From Howard Stern to Fox they all have to drill it into you.

The music industry's capacity to take a person or band from almost completely unknown to international fame is utterly astounding. I saw that a famous producer on twitter mention this the other day, and I just nodded my head.

Somehow I feel like this is directed at me specifically.

Thanks for admitting you're CIA. Did everyone catch that?

I guess I was a sleeper agent all along. Well, it's off to get vaccinated and HRT away my jimmies. The chief rabbi will be pleased.

Holy crap! I don't know anything about her, but just about every major public figure is used to sway public opinion. Only question is, public sector or private sector financed.

Nonetheless, her father Scott Swift comes from a family of bank Presidents, three generations worth. Scott is the founder of The Swift Group, operating under the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Group. He has been under the management group for over 40 years. Basically, he has been at the job since Swift's birth.

I watched a video about her music video where she is swinging in a golden bird cage. Obviously a rich girl playing rock star.

My little brother is a musician (now a public school music teacher) and he tells me most bands and musicians are spoiled rich kids that basically buy their way in

It's not really like that. It's more that the affluent kids have the funds and freedom to persue artistic careers. Like how rich kids can afford long internships without earning income because their parents can afford to pay for their lifestyle.

Yes... And most clubs operate via pay to play (I was heavily involved in the Hollywood club scene in my early 20s). The promoter rents the club and has a minimum alcohol sells number to hit (the club owners operate the bar and also why most clubs are 21 and over). The promoter will then pay a headliner band, the warm up acts buy tickets at about half of what they can sell them for, 100 minimum. The lower tier bands rarely sell the tickets, thus pay to play. The warm up acts typically do back yard parties to generate the money to buy the tickets. The rich kids (Motley Crue in particular) can buy hundreds at a time and paper the house. It's definitely a huge advantage. And yes, they are the kids that get a Les Paul and a Marshall stack for Christmas as well as music lessons for years. It's very rare, but bands such as No Doubt do work their way up. Those bands still need to get that break because there's a lot of good bands out there. The best bands rarely make it. No Doubt may never have broke through if Eric Stefani had not left the band and started working cartooning for the Simpsons and was listening to "Just a girl" when the right person walked by and wanted the song for that movie (I forgot the name, it's been years). It's a strange business...

Anyone who has read about Laurel Canyon and how the CIA was involved in the hippie/drugs/rock and roll movement, KNOWS they are lying. Once again.
