Keto, paleo and carnivore are all diets I’ve used and I’ve seen positive changes benefits from all of them. I would make sure your water sources are clean, filtered and remove as much fluoride, pharmaceuticals, hormones and metals as possible. AlexaPure and Berkey both have good at-home systems or you can set up a whole house system for about $2k. I would also add oil pulling to any of the above diets. On top of those considerations, exercise, meditate and/or pray daily if you can, or as needed. Take some supplements but don’t overdo it. Your vitamins and minerals should come from your food, medicine should come from your plants. Avoid any foods that have high levels of oxalates, like spinach. Embrace psychedelics if you need mental healing.
And above all else, avoid people and things that cause high stress.
carnivore diet might work with something like venison, but your farm raised animals fed mostly feed?
Or ugh the super stores, with the fucking animal machines, they are literally feeding them parts of themselves, they cracked down on that years ago, but since trump come in and repealed tons of shit, its proably bad bad again.
Anyway, your gonna end up mineral deficient if all you eat is store bought meat.
Sure you can take "supplements" but they arent going to do what real food can do. In my personal experience, they seem to do more harm than good. Its crazy the amounts people take and think that its ok. My kidneys hurt thinking about it.
Because proper hydration is rare and most people don’t drink enough. Oxalates are easily managed if you avoid spinach specifically. You can replace the positive nutrients from spinach with numerous other foods that don’t have oxalates.
I see mainstream saying this all the time. But in my personal experience, its not just water but salt. I dont force myself to drink, I drink when I want to drink.
Anyway, WCB pulled that shit on me. Told me maybe I needed to drink more water. I had a chuckle.
My urine and blood tests have come back completely normal, including electrolytes.
Just the godamn phosphorous thats out of whack for some reason. Cant get help in this shit ass country of canada.
You’ll quickly die without salt. I add electrolyte drops (sodium, potassium, magnesium) to my water if I’m intermittent fasting. If I’m not fasting, I just get salt through food.
I don’t have a point, I’m simply stating my experiences, opinions and what works FOR ME. You can eat spinach all you want, I don’t care. You seem to really like it.
Avocados and apple cider vinegar have potassium, or you can find keto electrolyte powder on Amazon. I agree with this poster, keto +intermittent fasting worked best for me, especially because I'm not a purist so if I cave and eat too many carbs I can just fast longer, or vice versa and want to break a fast early I can do so with a keto meal like an egg. Something worth investigating for yourself is the blood type diet, some people do better on carnivore diets than others.
As a general rule of thumb, any diet that will have you remove entire food groups is bad. The human body needs a variety of foods for health. Even sugar is essential. Natural sugar, like honey and fruit, is extremely beneficial. Do not remove food groups from your diet, remove FAKE “food” from your diet. What is fake food?
“Zero calories, sugar free, and low calorie” are all red flag terms for fake/ processed food. Real food has calories. When something is sweet, but has no sugar, it uses non-food chemicals that our bodies can’t process. When something is filling, but has low calories, it is processed shit. This processed, fake food is extremely unhealthy.
Many fad diets will have you remove carbs, meat, fat, or vegetables. These fad diets are so popular because many people see drastic and rapid improvement when first transitioning to them. This SHORT TERM improvement is typically caused by the unintentional removal of fake/ processed food. At first the vegan feels and looks great, give it time and they look like death. At first keto will make you feel better, give it time and it will make you feel like shit.
We are told by “health experts” that we should remove several food groups to have a healthy diet. Red meat, egg yolks, butter, salt, and fat are all demonized and are used as scapegoats for the degrading western life expectancy and health. Red meat, egg yolks, butter, salt, and fat are all extremely healthy, nutrient rich superfoods.
Your not wrong. Its not just about calories but whats packed with the calories. Sure if your young and healthy enjoy your twinkies while you can. If your old and declining, like me. Then its about eating the way your parents taught you to. Well I would hope so anyway. You are what you eat, may be a old saying, but its literally true.
I was taught to eat and try a variety of different foods. Often your body will tell you what it needs, but it seems like a majority of people have forgotten how to do this. It really doesnt help that the chemical filled/preservative laden stuff is the cheapest.
The only thing that ever helped me lose weight reliably was fasting, and I feel great after doing it. The most ive ever went is 3 days, but ive come to a point in my life I think I want to try something like a week, or maybe two. It is hard adjusting to burning body fat, instead of food. But our body's literally evolved this way.
But sadly, I cant attempt this with my health issues right now. Im low on phosphorous and even with supplements, im nervous about fasting more than 24 hours.

I did? That just means you can’t read. Probably too much spinach.
I have a multiple choice response for your consideration. Please let me know how you’d like me to respond to your post:
A. My balls taste like spinach. Have a taste.
B. Get fucked, spinach whore.
Which response will you choose?
I choose C. “Spinach has made you retarded.”

Have you ever had your potassium checked?
I cant eat bananas, something about the texture and taste. Wish I could try one of the oldschool bananas. I likely would have enjoyed those.
But I do eat alot of dark leafy stuff, brussel sprouts, spinach, and my levels were normal.

I agree, but I dont feel that is true of fasting.
