Reddit is the planet's asshole. Full of shit eaters, and shit lickers. There is nobody sane left on Reddit. There is no debate on Reddit, just the topical competition of who can swallow the most bullshit, by getting your crappy cookie from praising the topic through eating its shit, or get crapped on and get cancelled. Because if you deviate with your individualism, your right to reject advertising, debating it, you will be attacked for thinking otherwise.
Never seen anything like this, because it's called extinction. It is the death of a species when all they do is swallow, or get swallowed. Until there are no more ideas, no debate, just the dumb advertising, accosting them. Become assimilated, and die.

But, in truth. It has gone to the dogs. Reddit has failed. Failed to be reasonable. By reasonable it requires reasoning. There is none left for the most part. Reasoning requires debate. Reddit has almost exactly none. It simply railroads every topic to drive advertising, its posts, into blind agreement. Undoubtedly there are few diehards left. Like yourself on a conspiracy sub, where it's a honeytrap. Conspiracy requires vetting to post, 2 month account creation, no history, no post even there, instant shadow banned. Its bots the dumbest on the planet immediately attack your history, if you post anything except an echo. If you gained cookie points first then post outside of an echo they blockchain downvotes spamming you with a checksum. It locks all you diehards in there, banning you from much of the rest of the site. Now it is overrun by shills and agents monitoring all your activity on that sub.
Reddit is so bad that even a proctologist wearing a rubber glove won't bother to post on it.

This is the average intelligence of an average nova scotian. At what point am I allowed to start worrying about my life. I don't agree. Most people here seem to recognize the truth that the GOP is one side of the uniparty, that has been in power all of my life. The Agenda marches on, and it doesn't matter which "side" is in control. It's the same agenda. They swap out periodically in order to placate the masses.

I pick out shills by pattern recognition. For instance, shills often try to subvert a place by giving people who are considering participating a false impression of the kinds of people who participate. Knowing that, you can watch out for endless "You know what this place is?" kinds of comments. Then you know you've found a shill.

I stopped caring what people think about what I think along time ago. For some reason, I am curious what other people do think though about things, and sometimes I feel the need to speak. I was pointing out the repeated, predictable tactic of mischaracterizing the makeup of a group in order to have readers take what they write less seriously and be less likely to engage with the discussions.
As for what you said, I think shills try hard to respond quickly in order to get views and let their vote brigades have a greater effect on which comments are near the top while people are still reading. That said, there are also reasons why a shill would wait a while:
to appear like an actual human, so having a consistent pattern as if being a person living in a particular time zone, having an actual life and not looking too much like a full-time worker,
to wait for central leadership to think things through and refine the narrative and game plan,
to post at a time when the bulk of the forum participants will see their (artificially upvoted) content and
to reduce the chances that anyone will still care enough to respond with a rebuttal.
