Try baking soda. I dissolve maybe 1/4 tsp (I don't even measure it) in water and drink it in the morning. I found this totally by accident.
I suffered from terrible allergies all my life, year-round. Sometimes I would take 10 of those Benadryl knockoffs in a day not to cure it, but just so that it wasn't unbearable. It wasn't on a schedule, just as I felt I needed one.
So one day I'm reading on the ever-reliable Internet about preventatives for gout, and one of the first ones is baking soda. Costs nothing, so I try it. I think that, yes, it did help with the gout but the attacks were infrequent anyway.
A couple of months into it, I noticed I was taking only one or often no Benadryls in a day. I haven't even carried them around in years, and I was paranoid about that before. It's rare I take even one now, but I'll just drink some more baking soda if I feel I need to.
AFAIK, it has something to do with blood chemistry, specifically acidity. All I can tell you is it changed my life for $0.80/box.
I forgot what's it's called, but there's this condition where gases produced by the digestive system causes irritation. (Like being allergic to your own breath). Would make sense for this or eating lots of vegetables (which worked for me).
I sometimes wonder if the Greeks were dealing with this too. Their artists intentionally made the penis smaller on the men in their works to extol the virtues of not giving into lust and hedonism. The crazy part is their artists were doing this, when usually art and artists is one of the first mediums/institutions to go degenerate. In reality, I think all societies (and individuals) deal with this problem, as our sexual drive must be strong to maintain the species, but without proper control it can lead to degeneracy.
My great grandpa came from the Netherlands during the great depression. He used baking soda and hot water to make toothpaste his entire life. He died with the best teeth I've ever seen someone in their 90s have. Baking soda ftw
I'm sure it would work as long as you mix it yourself. Any store mouth wash probably has God knows what ingredients to give us cancer, or fluoride poisoning.
IDK how true this is, but someone told me that you can tackle allergies by having honey in tea daily. It has to be honey from local beekeepers or else it will not be from the local flora and will not affect those specific allergens. Grocery store honey comes from a factory far far away and is mostly just processed sugar, avoid it.
When i eat lots of green leafy vegetables,
No sugar except a bit of fruit,
Exercise daily,
Limit shitty foods and oils,
And use a neti pot/grossan machine/navassage (or whatever its called) once or twice a week, i have or very limited allergies.
Also the quail egg thing works, like in the infowars pollen block supplement— i chew one, then “dip” the other between my cheek and gum
For when the snot wont stop, drink only warm/hot liquids, and use some guafinessen (spelling) or ephedrine (bronkaid) when you absolutely have to
To unstop one nostril:
Lay on your side and put your fist under your head.
The stopped nostril should face the ceiling.
Put your head at about a 35 degree angle.
Let the weight of your head push your bony knuckles into different tender acupressure points of your skull —you’ll know you’ve hit a pressure point, when it is sore or “tender”—- let it sit for a couple of minutes and try to breathe thru stopped nostril, keep moving to different points until you get it.
Pet allergies, you have to get acclimated to each pet for about two weeks to stop being severely affected by that pet— use a brush/“furminator” to get as much dander out of your house as possible, vacuum regularly.
Perhaps you are oblivious to the catastrophic guidance invoked by "medical professionals" over the last two years and wish to continue ignorantly presuming your well-being is the main priority.
I think you misunderstood my comment. I mean just that. The medical malpractive over the last 2 years has made everyone think twice about using it. We don't trust them anymore. When OP asked for advice here instead of medical subs, he's saying he doesn't trust them either.
Nasal saline rinses also help a lot with allergies as they help wash allergens out of the sinuses. In allergy season I do those and it reduces reactions.
I get hay fever in the summer. Sometimes I help out and do summer jobs on a farm, mowing, doing hay etc. If i wear a ffp3 mask I can go all day without any problems. Needs to have an exhaust valve. It also needs to be properly fitted on your face, any gaps and I'll literally die from the pollen. Not a cure but a work around at least.
So have any of you heard of any conspiracies that would explain where allergies really come from?
From what I can tell, its inflammation. I've had more success with anti inflammatories than with allergy meds. This would also make sense as to why baking soda works.
lots of quality high fat fish consumed over a long period of time along with a clean diet, reducing sugars, your body will heal itself of all "allergies and inflammations" which were nothing more than continuous metabolic stress
Pets could help. Cats and dogs will drag all sorts of things into the house, forcing people's immune systems to get stronger. I've read that kids with pets tend to have far fewer allergies than kids without.
Also, vaccines have always been suspected as a (major) cause of allergies.
Allergies could also be diet related. I'm not sure how far you want to go to cure this (or attempt to cure). Allergies are a relatively new phenomenon. Even just a few generations ago people didn't get them. Something modern must be to blame. I've heard that vaccines can cause it. I've also heard that chemical sprays on our food can cause it. For example, many people that have a gluten intolerance are in fact only reacting to the glyphosate (and other chemical sprays) residue on the wheat. When they eat organic foods, they don't get the allergies.
Glyphosate is officially only used as an herbicide. Unofficially, farmers use it as a desiccant, drying the crops out all at once, so it can be harvested all at once. Even though the official studies say glyphosate is safe in the small quantities found on our foods, experience says otherwise. Even very small doses, consumed over long periods of time, can result in quite severe health effects. With glyphosate specifically, they spray that shit on everything, wheat, corn, veggies, nuts, hops, and so on. Specifically with hops, the batches have to be tested, because some hops are so heavily laden woth glyphosate that it'll kill the yeast in the beer making process. Almost all wheat, flour, and wheat containing products are contaminated with glyphosate. Tons of processed foods contain wheat too. The only uncontaminated flour I've found is sold by a website called Healthy Traditions.
So, to fix this will require some research, and probably a complete change in your diet. You're going to have to research what all is sprayed with chemicals, and to cut them out of your diet. That includes non-organic produce (veggies, nuts, etc.), and anything made out of those things (processed foods). Organic farmers can still use chemical sprays, but they're natural, easily break down in the environment, and our body can utilize them or get rid of them easily. To be safe, all veggies should be soaked in baking soda for at least 15 minutes and then scrubbed and rinsed under water. It won't remove everything, but it will remove most of the bad stuff.
Furthermore, you're going to have to buy naturally raised and organic animal products too (meat, fat, milk, and eggs). Most factory farmed animals are fed grain diets, and those grains are contaminated with the same bad chemical sprays. They're also injected with antibiotics and hormones.
All of that stuff ends up in the downstream animal products. Buy products that specifically say "naturally raised", "free graze", "organic", and "no injections". Fortunately, these peoducts are becoming more common, as more people are realizing the negative effects of the modern diet.
This also means you'll have to cook for yourself almost exclusively, as you can't trust what products restaurants are using.
Suffered from insane seasonal allergies my entire life. Pollen, cats, dogs (to a lesser extent), horses, and every tree & grass under the sun. Go rid of nearly all of it by cutting out dairy from my diet.
Took a few months to clear out, but now I notice a massive shift in my congestion ~24 hours or so after so much as a piece of pizza (which is a bummer, but nothing tastes as good as breathing feels). Additionally, tea every morning with raw honey + turmeric + black pepper also seems to help on days where congestions seems to rear its ugly head. All in all though, cutting out dairy got rid of +95% of all of my allergies. My throat used to close if I spent any time at all in a house with a cat present, but now I have my own cat and can rub my face in his fur.
Who'd have ever thought that drinking the growth formula for a different species could lead to issues?
I dont think there is any singular cause, but the number of people with allergies is definitely increasing, so I'd say it had something to do with modern life. Could be vaccines, things in our food, soaps, anything...
I didn't have any allergies at all growing up, but developed some light ones in my 30s.
I went on a FODMAP diet, and eliminated all products with artificial fragrances, and only use Castile or other 'natural' soaps/shampoo/detergent, etc. Don't use antiperspirants; only aluminum free, sulfate free, etc 'natural' deodorants. Stuff like that.
Avoid plastics as much as possible. BPA and other plastic softeners even leach into milk from the tubes used in milking machines. Us A2 cow milk, or goat/sheep milk. A2 protein is easier to digest.
I haven't had any allergies, other than the occasional slight runny nose while actively mowing the lawn, since avoiding as many highly processed foods/products as possible.
I think the immune system gets overloaded, and reacts defensively to everything. Given some time to detox and heal, you won't react so severely to things that you're only somewhat sensitive to, and be able to figure out what things you're actually allergic to.
From what I've read, there are a lot of people theorizing that vaccine adjuvents are the cause of our increased allergy rate. (Get vaccine, eat peanut butter > you taught your body to react to peanut butter) I also wonder if this is why many people grow out of their allergies...
I hope you find something that works for your kid. As far as relieving symptoms goes, I can't explain it but I found that swishing ("oil pulling") castor/olive oil for 10-20 minutes cleared up my sinuses...
If I feel the need to take something for congestion, I use Primatene tablets (ephedrine), and take 1/4 of a tablet in the morning. Just enough to clear the sinuses, without feeling speedy or anything. I find this more effective and side effect free than other allergy or congestion medications.
Recalibrate the way you breathe. Most likely due to over breathing. Look up Buteyko method or read the book Oxygen Advantage. Should also help with asthma.
When I stopped eating vegetables, my allergies went away. It was pretty crazy. I did carnivore for a few months in a desperate attempt to heal some autoimmune issues & one of the biggest surprises to me was how clear my nose became. I didn’t know my nostrils could be so clear that breathing in just air could feel like water up the nose. I’ve since added carbs - but for the most part no allergies except for when I’ve added in leafy green veggies. Everyone’s chemical make up is different & another person could be total opposite - but what I have taken from the experience is that if there are severe food sensitivities that we continue consume then the gut is weak & triggered which then makes us susceptible to being triggered by our environment. Maybe there’s a food allergy in there that if he stopped eating it & his gut were healed, then his environmental allergies might also dissipate.

lemme know results
I have no idea if it will work for anyone else, but I cannot stress how much it changed my life. Best of luck!
but does it help with small pp syndrome? this is what we all need to know.
then we can finally stop clicking on all those "my friend found the secret to big dong" ads
Quit being a coombrain.

Interesting. thx for sharing do you think a baking soda rinse would be just as good?
I'm sure it would work as long as you mix it yourself. Any store mouth wash probably has God knows what ingredients to give us cancer, or fluoride poisoning.
I will try this

If you can, get unprocessed honey, as it has a lot more of the good stuff in it. It can also be called "raw".
Seasonal allergies like pollen?

That’s my two cents
The fact that you want medical help from here and not any health care sub speaks volumes.

Ah, ok, copy that, beg pardons.
Maybe homemade yoghurt or kefir?
Apparently allergies can be caused by so many childhood vaccines.

I heard vaxes tied to allergies

go to a village in africa. buy a bag of someones poop and douche your ass with it.
