It could be and I can be wrong. I am speculating.
Jews who are not in on it and even those who are, are going to say he died a like a rat and such. This is only to be expected. And only to be expected that ordinary Jews might think it's a good idea to release his footage and say he was starving.
BUT I am starting with the premise that the footage was NOT a leak. Jewish militias have most certainly committed unspeakable atrocities when they occupied Gaza. Rapes, torture of children and such. Yet no one single video leaked (I am talking about snuff videos some Jewish militias must have recorded when they slowly tortured women and children).
Videos coming out of the IDF are IMO and probably in anyone with military experience tightly controlled. There is a whole department to make sure nothing comes out which they don't want to come out.
Ordinary Jews do not understand about the effect of a certain footage. But the specialized army department is. I just find it highly unlikely that Sinwar death footage was a random leak.
It already reached a point where many people don't even understand that you can save and then buy things in cash upfront and without taking a loan. (i.e. saving the full amount and buying a car or a home for instance without taking a loan/monthly installments)
