Programmers do less hardware than IT guys.

May be you mean "anykey guys" under IT? What IT guys do with hardware? Move it and connect with cables?

And did you noticed, that right now you stated exactly what I told earlier - programmers are not IT guys.

Here IT is all networking.

What do you mean under networking? Does writing networking code fall under your IT?

There isn't necessarily any coding at all and it's separate from web design

How coding and web design is not "Information Technology"?

Are coders different from programmers?

You repeat that mantra again and again and provide no any useful information.

"You are not a doctor, you have zero clue". Heard it million times. And every single time it was a complete bullshit.

That is exactly how useless job look like.

Do you understand that nowdays meaning of "IT" is very far from what IT was a decade ago?

Typical conversation:

  • Are you IT specialist?
  • Hell, no way! I'm programmer, I know how hardware works.

"IT" today is modern hipster languages, bloatware frameworks, something they name "platforms", CD/CI (in Russian it named "bang-bang and into production"), rewriting for the sake of rewriting, upgrading for the sake of upgrading, and all that crap.

Result you see right now as your GB/GHz eating browser with a single long page with few distant pictures and some curtailed text with megabytes of JS frameworks on the top.

So, you refuse to describe what you understand as "system integrator job". That's OK.

▲ 1 ▼
CrazyRussian 1 point ago +1 / -0

Be more specific. The idea of such profession and what it is in reality is completely different.

Probably usually you had a customer who need some process organized. You force him to buy stuff from vendors you select and connect everything together according to vendors howtos. Probably you don't even bother, what is the real and final purpose of customer process, does it even necessary, and how real customer problem could be solved in KISS way.

System integrator is just a third-party sales manager for solutions of vendors on his list, instead of person who have to solve customer problem.

I never meet any ot that guys who solved real customer problem in most efficient way.

Of course, computer programming, system administration and computer science isn't useless. That thing named IT nowdays is mostly useless. The result you could easily see literally right now. Take a look how much memory and CPU/GPU your browser eating just to show page you are reading now with simple text and some images.

Sales consultants in literally every country on earth.

Do you understand, that it is the same jobs? :) Useful only to sell as much unneded crap as possible to the customer.

complex, non-agrarian based societies are going to have complex jobs that require abstraction.

So, name such society and such job as an example. Society, obviously, must export tons of some very useful devices to other societies that will feed it in exchange, since it is a non-agrarian.

It’s really not as simple as that : modern farming techniques and automation made being a farmer mostly useless, as evidenced by higher crop yields and lower numbers of farmers. However it made farming equipment mechanics and engineers more useful; it made farming equipment sales managers more useful; it freed up labor to be allocated elsewhere (or in a free market sense, more incentive to do something other than farm made it profitable to do so).

But that is not what happening in reality. In reality farmers are obliged to buy seeds from "approved" sources, forced to pay for "vaccinations", forced by machinery manufacturers to vendor lock without having a right to repair and so on. Mechanics are got rid because they can't repair vendor locked machinery, engineers can't apply their skills without tons of senseless regulations, even agronomists losing jobs, because there is nothing to manage on strictly controlled by government farm where some legislative papers dictate you what exactly you should sow and where and seeds manufacturers that force you to follow their guidelines to be allowed to buy seeds next year. You can't breed your own varieties of plants anymore. Even fertilisers are strictly regulated. There is nothing to do for agronomist any more on a farm.

But at the same time, the army of law enforces and supervisors from government and corporate sector is growing with insane speed. Even lawyers are breeding in enormous amounts to help corporations to sue you for "unapproved" repair or keeping your own seeds.

Technology bring a lot to a farmers, and if we lived in some another world, things could be as you describe. But in our world, technology was hijacked by greedy elites obsessed with idea of total control over humanity. So, no, when farmer buy a new tractor, it is not a new regular service job for village mechanic, it is a village mechanic starvation, along with more money farmer have to spent on service and repairs, because new tractor could be repaired and serviced only on authorized corporation service station only with corporation spare parts and only as expensive modules. And farmer have to pay them full price for whole diesel high pressure fuel pump instead of a single valve piston or even just a small gasket.

The “useles eaters” analogy only comes into play if you plan on reducing society to the bare minimum: farmers, manufacturers, cops, what-have-you.

Exactly that "bare minimum" farmers, cops or whatever are constantly reduced in modern societies. From the other side, the number of bureaucrats, paper movers, financial advisers, influencers, IT and other useless crap grow.

There is nothing complex in any real work at all. "I'm calculating plane wings", "I'm building space rockets", "I'm making plastic from oil", even "I'm writing software to calculate plane wings" and so on will be perfectly understandable for any person. Real things have a real application, so it is easy to explain what you are doing if you could anchor in final result. Useless job needs a lot of "professional" words because there are even no real application of the result. So, useless employee have to not only describe his job with the strange words, but also think out some lie about why people need that crap he doing. There is nowhere to anchor in explanations, so they are either weird, or endless, looped like uroboros explanations.

Unfortunately, all world governments and elites work very hard to eliminate useful jobs, not useless one, making harder and harder to produce something real and useful with tons of their stupid legislations, taxes, licensing and other crap, since the useless jobs does not create any value governments and elites have to feed from useful ones. Less useful jobs - less value could be milked by elites - more milking to keep the feeding - less people can afford useful jobs and so on.

So, I'm afraid you will find out exact opposite in reality - useless jobs growth with useful jobs declining.

Any possible currency relies on third party. Even gold. You definitely need third party to make it valuable. If nobody accout gold as something valuable, but just a soft metal not even good enough for most things, then gold can't be a currency.

So, you need a third party to create currency. It is third party that attach a value to a thing making possible to use it as currency. And here goes differences - what third party make thing used as currency valuable. Third party for official fiat is a state. Third party for independent crypto or gold are those who agreed to use it as currency.

In the first case state is in full control. In latter one, the only thing state have to do is to request to not use independent currency without any possibility to enforce it, unless people will loose right to own something privately. Hopefully we are still far enough from that wet dream.

If you think that gold itself have some property that makes it currency, and that it is something obvious that don't need any proof and could not be questioned, you are wrong. It is literally third-party, i.e. people who make gold valuable, so making it possible to use it as currency and not some magical internal property of gold itself.

Same with any other independent currency, whatever it is. If some people see some value in it, it could be used as a currency among that people, and no government could take that value from it. Government could only try to convince people that the thing that is used as currency have no value. And here comes a question - will government be able to finally convince nearly all people in that, or not. And now, government could convince people in something only using MSM and social crap. So, it is strange for me when you talking about burning the bridge and at the same time helping government to devalue independent currencies that gained their value not by some government legislation, but by the will of people who began to use it.

For now, f.e. I don't see any enthusiasm among people about CBDC, like they have about BTC/XMR/other independent crypto. So, there is ultimate difference between CBDC and crypto in the source of trust to that currencies. And government trying hard to pose CBDC as something just like independent crypto, hiding that huge difference, that is obvious for any sane human. So, again, I do not understand, why you aligning with that government efforts to hide that enormous difference between CBDC and independent crypto.

All in all, even if all normies will slide from BTC to CBDC, still nothing will prevent sane people from using BTC as a currency.

CrazyRussian 2 points ago +2 / -0

Seems there will be some long explanation... :)

All their legislations on that topic is based on a false assumption that people who use BTC, XMR or whatever independent crypto for some insane reason have to exchange them to some official currency to use it. All that legislations are about official exchanges and other stuff that should provide info to the gevernment about all your transactions and demant ID from users.

Just imagine that you choose gold pieces as your currency. But for some insane reason (say, government prohibited direct exchange of gold to goods and vice versa), instead of direct exchange of gold pieces to goods or services you ordered to go to the bank to exchange them to some fiat and back and allowed to do it only after complete identification.

In reality, obviously, you don't need any exchanges to use your independent currency, be it gold, independent crypto or any other shit. You take your BTC and transfer them directly to owner of goods you need. Without any exchanges, government, whatever. From your address to seller address. Like with gold pieces, from your pocket to seller pocket. Or vice versa - you receive currency to your own pocket/address and do not exchange it to some state shit at all. You don't need any third-party to do it.

It is insane, how people could not get a simple fact - you absolutely don't have any need to exchange your independent currency on any exchanges to some other currency.

From the beginning and step by step.

  • You create your own wallet for gold/silver/BTC/whatever in your own jacket/computer/whatever.
  • You do some job or trade some goods and get payment in gold/BTC into your own wallet.
  • You spend that money from your own wallet to pay for some job/goods directly, without any exchange to official currency, just like you directly received payments into your wallet.
  • You safely use your BTC/gold/whatever without any control of any government.

One could say, that nearby grocery does not accept BTC/gold directly and demand ID or payment through some official exchange/payment system. Talk to grocery owner. I'm shure he is not happy with government controlling every single penny he earned working hard in his grocery. With high probability he will eventually gladly agree to receive direct payments in independent currency without notifying state about it.

There is no way government could control direct transactions of gold/BTC/whatever, they could only issue a prohibiting legislations, nothing more. And if you know that they couldn't detect that your private wallet belongs to you, could not detect that you take out gold/BTC/whatever from your wallet and transfer it to similar private wallet of another person government don't know about, than there is no any sane reason to obey their helpless legislations at all.

Don't obey any government legislations that prohibit owning, private exchange and trading in independent currencies. Don't show them your pockets, say by playing stupid games on exchanges. And that's all.

I don't care who and for what reason created independent p2p crypto. You could safely use them ignoring any laws, and that's all. Just like government agency created Internet - you could use easily and safely it to do things that government don't like and have no any problems. All you need to stay safe is just a little sensible precautions, nothing more.

Jusk like you don't show your pocket with gold to the government, don't show them your BTC wallet/addresses. Is it something hard to understand or what? Or trading on all that shitty and completely unnecessary Binance/Coinbase/whatever centralized and controlled trading platforms is some kind of heavy obsession?

During a years of BTC use and mining (when it was possible to mine them on regular PC at the very beginning) I never used any third-party services to exchange BTC to fiat and back. Never. It is not needed at all to use them as currency. I receive them for some jobs and goods, I spend them for some services and goods too. No problems at all. No state agency know that I'm doing it and so, obviously, could not control it.

Don't account state currency as a ultimate thing you have to use, accept and pay with. You don't. State currency is just a same thing as a loaf of bread or a spare part for your car, with one exception - you don't need it. And even if you want it, what stops you to buy it with your crypto, just like you bought that spare part, transferring money from your own private wallet to another person private wallet in exchange to some units of state currency? Who and how could track, prevent or count that transaction? Even if some questions will be arised, what prevent seller and you to say, that seller paid you in state currency for a good advice, some help in garage or lawn mowing without disclosing any crypto transactions?

You don't have to exchange dollar bills on some excahnges or show your ID when buying goods with dollar bills yet. Barely you will use ID or third-party exchanges if you will do your trade in gold pieces. So, why do you think it is necessary and unavoidable if you doing your trade with BTC?

Sometimes I getting an impression, that nearly all people who talk for or against independent crypto somehow suppose that crypto is what they see on their accounts at centralised exchanges they use to play stupid trading games in hope to get rich, not the p2p network, private nodes, private wallets and real principles of work. So, when that shitty crypto exchange that have really nothing to do with crypto system itself began to demand ID or whatever info, they suddenly began to think that "government control their crypto". That is not true. Government gaining control over your account on crypto excahnge where "your" crypto is even not yours at all, since you don't control your account wallet that belongs to a crypto excahnge. This is lunacy, especially taking in account that you don't need any crypto exchange at all to use crypto as currency. Install Bitcoin Core (the only official opensource and free bitcoin software) on your own computer, rise p2p connection to the network, create private wallet with some addresses nobody know about and you are completely independent from the government with your currency, until government completely shut down all Internet which is, at current point, completely unacceptable for government, since they actively use Internet for their propaganda and all that stuff.

It depends on what meaning you attach to "New World Order" term. This settled term and abbreviation have definite meaning of totalitarian woke globalist order current elites trying to implement on Earth in a hurry.

Obviously, there should be some kind of order on Earth benefitting all the humanity, that is significantly different from what we have now. Some could name it "new world order" too, because it obviously will be new, world and order, adding confusion in his talking points. To avoid that there should be used some other term, significantly different from settled one.

I hope TS just mean "Another World Order" or, say "Fair World Order", that is completely different from NWO in that sentence.

So you dont think one should stop using the wireless earbuds that literally send emf through your brain?

Modern wiresless earbuds have too short wavelength to send EMF through brain. Average depth of penetration into human flesh of 2.4GHz frequency is around 17mm. Skin-effect and all that stuff. So, no, wireless earbuds can't send EMF through your brain.

From the other side, if you are concerned (and you have full rights for that, independently from the relevancy of your concern), then just don't buy that wireless earbuds, what is the problem? Or is it so impossible to resist marketing witchcraft, that you have no choice other than line to buy latest Apple AirPods or whatever and then concern about them?

If you think that shugar is harmful, you just don't buy and don't eat it. Why same logic can't be applied to EMF emitting devices you don't like or suspicious of?

Everybody I know is winning about surveillance by BigBrother through smartphones that use BigBrother OS and apps. But at the same time nearly all of them continue to buy and use smartphones with BigBrither OS and apps. And all that along with availability of alternatives - simple button mobiles, smartphones like Pinephone and others, not based on any BigBrother software. Even reflashing existing BigBrother smartphone with something like free Lineage OS is not an option for them. "I need an app of my bank that spy on me!!!". "I'm using WhatsApp and very concerned that it spying on my conversations!"

So, what the hell is going on? "We are willingly using harmful crap we don't like and we are very concerned about using harmful crap". It's insanity.

I know a person who tested and fit people for hearing devices.

If I understand correctly, hearing devices necessary for people with some malfunction in hearing system. Ill people.

So here rising very interesting question - why she does not blame the incompetent doctors, who can't do exactly what they intended to do - fix malfunctions in humans, but blame wifi/bluetooth for some harm?

Obviously, if doctors would have done their job properly there even will be no any need for any hearing devices, with bluetooth or without, whatever, so the question of EMF harmfulness even just wouldn't exist in the first place.

Or it is just politically correct to blame some EMF for the problem instead of real source of the problem - ignorant doctors?

It's not exactly EMF

It is exactly EMF. Bluetooth and WiFi works literally using EMF.

You are definitely could get health issues including cancer from EMF. But it is heavily depends on EMF level.

However, at current EMF levels even in dense cities you have to live at those places something like 500-700 years to began worry about that problem more than about occasional fall of an object on your head.

EMF levels around us is not the thing to really worry about, at least now. If you still worry a lot, you obviously could move to rural area, effectively lowering EMF level by few orders of magnitude or even more. If you are not moved yet, than, your concern is al least suspicious.

I was very interested in that topic, but digging deeper than reading alarmist articles that, suddenly have to be questioned just like any other info you getting, I found that most of it is just another fearmongering and kind of safety trolling. The only real way you could really harm yourself by EMF of home appliances is to disable microwave safety switch, put your head into it and turn it on.

Question everything. Especially information you consider important for you.

You just recently was a subject in the worldwide attempt of fearmongering by non working virus. Do you really think that those who fearmongering people really care about what exactly will make people live in constant fear?

And for the stange coincidence, Anton Krasovsky is a jew and open gay, he lived for a long time on Ukraine with parents and widely declare that he have AIDS. Worked for Vogue, Harper's Bassaar, Wallaperr and was a candidate in Moscow mayor elections and a member or ultra-liberal party "Union of Right Forces" (Yes, it is hard to understand, but in Russian politics everythihg right is left and everything left is right. Most conservative party is a Communist Party of Russian Federation one of whose slogans is Make Russia Great Again). When the political wind changed, he quickly become Putin supporter.

If you think that Russian MSM is a land of based bearded men with shotguns and pet bears talking wise things about transcendent duty of Russian soul in a great battle between existential evil and forces of eternal good, you are completely wrong. Russian MSM is exactly same crap with exactly same masters as any other MSM in the world. Dirty, lying jewish owned swamp with dumb parrots who push narratives.

Hopefully, Russian MSM have lower public trust than West MSM. F.e. taking latest vaccinehoax data, 35% of openly unwilling in Russia vs 22% of openly unwilling in US. along with very similar level of propaganda. Not much to be proud of, but at least something.

Unfortunately, there is still a large amount of people in the world who trust MSM. That is a huge problem.

PS: If you think that in that video Krasovsky is the worst guy, then, you just don't know a man who he talking with. It is Sergey Lukyanenko, Russian speaking sci-fi writer, and even not very bad and relatively popular one. And he is worse than Krasovsky. If Krasovsky is just an obvious jewish clown pretending for the place of recently died political jewish clown Zhirinovsky, Lukyanenko is one of those who silently poisoning a well of Russian culture pushing satanism, witchery and other crap under guise of sci-fi.

Anti-missle systems are pretty bullshitty in general, aren't they(?)

Yes. None guarantee 100% protection. Nobody botherd to spent money on inventing some force shields or deflectors. But there is difference between 90% protection and 50% protection, f.e.

We have a pretty big air force too

And here comes anti-aircraft defence, where Russia have priority over US too.

So, we have cool attacking power without decent protection against the other side with cool protection without decent attacking power. Who will win? Really I don't want to check this out in practice.

With all that efforts and money spent on endless weapon race we could create paradise here and occupy half of Solar System already.

You can have one hypersonic missile with a little payload that may hit a stationary target

Kinzhals, Kh-15, Zircons are all guidable during all trajectory. That was the main goal for their creation. They developed to hit moving targets since the beginning, that was the main idea - to make an insanely fast missile that could make evolutions at that speed and avoid any possible countermeasures. Creating missile body that will sustain hypersonic speeds was not a hardest task. Guiding was the main problem. Principles of controlling supersonic aircraft is very different from those of conventional plane. Same with difference between supersonic and hypersonic flight. You can't just take supersonic guided missile and put more fast engine on it. That will not work.

And about a little payload. Hypersonic is not only payload, it is also a projectile with enormous momentum that will easily penetrate nearly everything. So, you have a destruction from the blast and a penetrative destruction from the projectile itself, that is very useful for sinking large ships.

Or like 10000 conventional missiles... For the same price.

Really, hypersonics are not 10000 more expensive than conventional missile, but OK.

It is proven that conventional missiles could be intercepted, and any large military ship have antimissile system on bosrd. So, while you trying to hit aircraft carrier with tons of conventional missiles, enemy will have enough time to detect the source and rise fighters into the air to destroy it.

So, no, it is not "same thing for same price". Either you spend 1 expensive hypersonic with guaranteed result and you are safe, or you spend 10000 conventional missiles with a possibility that target will hit back.

▲ 2 ▼
CrazyRussian 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good at destroying aircraft carriers, bassed on what data???

Based on destruction data from the very first tests in Arctic when missiles was specifically targeted on large military ship mockups.

Along with absense of any systems that could intercept maneuring objects with that speed it is obvious that it was developed including an idea of using them as a tool against US aircraft carriers. May be that was the main idea and necessity for developing them.

It is not a secret, that US base it's conventional military power mostly on aircraft carriers and without aircraft carriers (and all sufrace fleet too) US will be much weaker on the world stage. So, why is it so hard to accept, that US rivals finally will create a perfectly working mean against aircraft carriers? Or you thought that US aircraft carriers are fundamentally invulnerable and will forever represent US military power and nobody will work on weapons against them?

So, aircraft carriers are obsolete for some time now. And US have to invent something new to cover that huge hole that appeared in US military doctrine. As any sane military power always do. When the enemy found out how to make your important weapon obsolete, you create something new to replace it, or to mitigate threat. But for some unknown reason, US MIC does not invent anything that could replace aircraft carriers, nor invent something to stop hypersonic missiles. It could not even create working hypersonic missile, at least to have something to practically test possible countermeasures. It is already more than 5 years, or even much more, but nothing was done at all. Purposedly?

▲ 3 ▼
CrazyRussian 3 points ago +3 / -0

That videos was some bullshit, obviously. You can't make a video of hypersonic rocket with smartphone camera. It will hit target before you will have any clue it is approaching to point a camera to the sky. Even footage of some very advanced surveillance camera that occasioanlly was targeted at trajectory of hypersonic missile will have only few frames with blurry images of rocket, because it is around 3 miles per second and rocket will travel significant distance during camera exposition time. All you will find on that frames will be just a long blurry dash instead of rocket, even from long distance.

I think it will be possible to make a video of arriving hypersonic with one of that high-speed cameras that is used to film the bullets that hit objects. And only if you know beforehand the direction of flight.

US is defensless because US still don't have quick enough and long-range antimissile systems to intercept them. And it seems that even for conventional missiles US antimissile systems suck a lot. Even according to official Ukrainian propaganda, Ukrainian military still using S300 to shot incoming missiles, with some success. I think the case when enemy missile was hit by a new system provided by the West will occupy news for weeks, if not for months, like with every single case when that HIMARS crap was not shot down and somehow reach the target.

US MIC is strange thing. They make enormously overpriced stuff that give a very moderate results. Military equipment is overpriced in any country, but by rate of money spent to usefulness US MIC is definitely occupy the very top without any observable competitors.

Also, it is a mistery, when US MIC just drop very promising projects and return to something conventional. With all that DARPA stuff, mindblowing patents, and unlimited financing, US MIC already have to produce phasers, photon torpedoes and antigravity aerial vehicles, but all we have is just a rumors about some 40yr old TR-3b thing that was never seen in any of numerious US wars abroad and even in domestic army training manoeuvres. 40 years is not enough to finally make weapon army worthly?

Or did US lost all their advanced technologies along with blueprints of Saturn V and Lunar module? Did they stored all valuable secret tech docs in one box and lost it somehow?

Something is definitely wrong with US MIC, so it is not a surpise that it degrades more and more. Switching from producing weaponry to money laundering for their bosses could not end with something good.

Or the quality of all that modern woke engineers who can't decide what gender they are since university and who replaced old-school intolerant racist white engineers in MIC gives expected results.

And/or that's all done with US by TPTB with some purpose.

They are good at destroying D.U.M.B.s, aircraft carriers, or other heavily protected or shielded targets, but have no advantage for regular battlefield or infrastructure objects. What is the point of using hypersonic everywhere, if even a cheap mopede is enough? Just a question of correspondence between target and weapon. So, they was used to destroy only targets that require hypersonic.

Hypersonics are obviously more expensive than conventional rocketry due to the usage of specific matarials to withstand temperature and plasma at hypersonic speeds.

You don't use plasma cutter to cut 0.8mm metal roofing, when regular metal scissors is more than enough. You certainly could cut metal roofing with plasma cutter, but what is the point?
