US education was crap back when I was a student. In 6th grade, the math teacher gave us math problems for the US 12th grade, or however they call their last year in high school, and we all had max points. In 6th grade rarely anyone had max points on regular tests, but this US test was a joke. I didn't know back then why was that, but I was in a world competition and the US team was 3 Chinese kids and 1 Indian kid. Make your own conclusions.
