A few years back, I got charged for some phone call I made regarding some stuff that happened. Details aside, I hired an attorney (DA was expecting me to just go in and plea so he could fuck me in the ass. Wasn't happy when he saw me with a lawyer).
But once the case got started, and my attorney found out that I don't have any social media (outside of a email address), he was ecstatic. Made the DA's job alot tougher and they couldn't pin any politics or social nonsense on me (nazi, trump supporter, insurrectionist, etc). My attorney ended up shutting down most of the DA's arguments. Got 10 days in county and 1 year of unsupervised probation.
Bottom line is that: 'What you post online WILL be used against you in a court of law.". At the end of the day, there isn't anything on SocMed that is relevant to your life and it acts as one big honeypot. I've narrowed myself down to a email address and cell number. I can only be reached by a email, text, phone call, or standard mail. No other way exists to contact me.

I just did. No issues, and my email is not linked in with my phone, or I should say, I did not provide Gmail with a contact number. I have a older account that I've had for a long time that never required me to setup a phone number. I think your issue might be due to if you setup a gmail acount within the last 5 years (iirc). However, your reply is just a good reason and example to move to a different email service (like Proton or something else). I don't recall Hotmail asking for a number as well.

Edit: I didn't care a scratch about this 'attack' back in 10/23, because I knew it was going to happen. How did I know? Unit 8200 (assumed), or some other intelligence service (connected with Unit 8200) made a post in, or around June 2023 on 4chan's /pol/ board. They specifically mentioned some form of 'event' that would happen which (they hoped) would FORCE people to take a side (pro/anti Israel). The reason behind that is the implementation of some form of surveillance software (assumed Palantir) to identify and record any and all posts, communications, etc that were, and are made about this event. To be simple, they are trying to build a 'us/them' database for whatever their next actions will be.
