They did it and the US government still covers for them

Yep.
I've known all that for decades. Everything you just mentioned was in full view and being discussed within days and months of 9/11. It's all been scrubbed and washed from much of people's memories, no thanks to the hyper ADD society we live in.
Oh, and jet fuel melts steel beams.
You're high on jet fumes!!! Even if it did, which it doesn't, not nearly as well as thermite explosives ... All the way down to the ground which is why you don't see any of the support beams left after the explosive thermite blasts. Jet fuel doing all that... 😂🤣😂 I've got a bridge to sell ya... The dead giveaway to thermite explosive demo is building 7 ... Crazy obvious!!! 😁
Shhh, first rule of demolishing Building 7 club is that you don't talk about the demolishing Building 7 club....You don't want anyone to start getting ideas about what kind of records, financial and otherwise were stored there. No sir-eee-bob. Don't start going down that accounting...er...I mean rabbit hole..
😂 no crime is full proof, this bit of evidence just happens to be bitch-slapping obvious....ooohhh no, now we need a "Patriot Act" to destroy every American's constitutional rights (illegal) in the name of security 😁 and "intelligence" told us that Sadamn has WMDeez nuts... Let's use this "Intel" to go slaughter a million people and steel us some oil while we're at it 😉
Curveball.
I was in Kuwait in mid-98 and we knew Saddam didn't have WMD's.
And at the end of it all, we didn't even get the oil. All that blood and chaos for nothing. Of course, if the main goal was to destabilize and destroy a list of countries in the region (PNAC) to support some 'Greater' plan, then it starts to come together.
Now I'm an AE 911 guy from way back, but let me just pick your brains about a side question. I've been telling people about (nano)thermite all this time but I recently realized I didn't know that much about it. I though it'd been used in demolition before but apparently the actual tech hadn't. So the question is, what kind of testing would they have done prior to 9/11 to make sure they could do it right on first go? I don't think any prep buildings went down at Los Alamos or Livermore, for instance. If we could find that it'd connect some dots. I know they wouldn't "pull it" unless they were confident, but I'd thought they had some backup experience and then I couldn't find any when I looked. So if you or anyone had that detail filled in it'd be impressive.
Oklahoma City Bombing

Warning It's a long read, but it covers some information regarding thermobaric devices. There are other explosive methods outside of thermite that can be used. Also, the same damages to the buildings in OKC are very close/similar to what we saw on 9/11.
Just keep in mind that these types of events had many years in the planning and many pieces put in place. The US government has no qualms lying to their citizenry if it meant to keep something so monstrous under wraps. We all know that is beyond debate at this point.
Either way, it still stands that 9/11 was a inside job. The Pentagon attack has so many holes in it you could fly a plane through it.
