It is what I'm currently pondering. The difference between this situation and storing nuclear fuel is that we can bury and forget about spent nuclear fuel. We can't stop using medicine and science.
So to avoid harming future generations and their relationship to these two sciences, we have to make sure there's a clear difference between the scientific fields and the corporate-bribed perversion of science we're seeing today. We have to send a message, short and concise and something people can relate to in thousands of years.

What you're describing is simply childish behaviour. People who've been trained to not think in adult terms, "I am responsible for what I do".
