This winter has been worse than any since the jab rollout.
they're zombified. not all, not even a majority, but a very noticeable portion.
perpetually sick, weird health maladies, looking like they've aged 20 years. when I mention the jab - just casually, not even negatively - around ppl vaxxed, I can feel the tension in the air.
the fear in their eyes, the body language... they're all freaked out but won't dare say a thing. it's so weird. the denial and almost child-like emotion is so weird...
and these are people who used to proudly show off their vax cards!!
It's not unexplainable at all, these are well known psychological mechanisms - Everything from the mass formation psychosis to the individual censorship or repression of other's opinions. It's a dark masterpiece.
What you're describing is simply childish behaviour. People who've been trained to not think in adult terms, "I am responsible for what I do". It's worked well for them so far, because society have changed to value irresponsibleness. It's what got them into this situation and it's what's preventing them from getting out of it.
What's worse is that their behaviour allows for the leaders to treat everybody like children. When the definition of "malinformation" is that's it's true but it's bad that our own population knows about it, it's basically the same as saying "Rex went to the farm". This is how adults treat children.
Is it scary? Yes. Is it strange? No. It's just human.
You have some interesting perspectives. Some which I agree with, some I disagree with... Some I've not considered.
I think this is more about a very human flaw, the inability to objectively look at ourselves from the outside. Subjectively we're immortal, all individual experience so far have shown us that nothing the universe can throw at us have been able to kill us. Subjectively we don't change much. An aside, I heard an interview with an elderly man where he was asked how it felt to be old. "I don't know, I'm as young as ever. But I can tell you how it feels to be stuck in an old body!"
Nobody does that, we only work dead end jobs for the time being out of neccessity. Even if the end result is a shitty career partly fulfilling somebody else's dream. It's all about people's perspective.
No, friend. Humanity have never done anything as a species. Not even in the recent global vaxx drive where the majority of humans were vaxxed multiple times. Even among the vaxxed there's a plethora of different reasons for why they took it.
Humanity's path have always been made by different groups of people pulling the world in their direction. Once in a while enough of them pulls in the same direction and it seems the whole world is shifting.
In the same way that you talk about "we" I could say that we've gotten increasingly rich to the point where money is meaningless, we have access to cutting edge technology making life practically flawless and we're making sure that our inheritors get the entire earth. Everybody else will own nothing and be happy. Our children will own everything.
See where I'm going? Some people are stuck. Some people race ahead. There is no "humanity" as a whole.
Have you heard about the breakaway civilization concept? I find it fascinating, can we not say that everybody attending Davos who is using their private jets are as different to us as we are to the third world (assuming you live in the west)? Could there be anything beyond the elite we see?
Sometimes lifeforms eat themselves out of existence or mess up in other ways, it's not exclusive to our society. It's as natural as a beaver drowning in a collapsed dam.
Yes. As a general group we are too stupid. I believe 66-75% of the population is so stupid they'd jump off a bridge or inject mystery science juice if they were told to. The rest of us is smart enough to see the system is designed to maintain power at all costs and don't dare to challenge it, best we can do is try to keep our heads above water.
For you. For me. Not for those who benefits from this situation. It's all about perspective.
Well put.
The internet turned out to be way more dangerous for those who control the world than anybody could ever imagine. Video games, streaming, watercooler level social media... It's all opium for the masses. The internet is too integral to modern life so it can't be shut down. So diluting it is second best.
The problem was fake statistics that lead to a general heightend state of fear which left people open to mass formation psychosis. The reaction was a self-sustainable and continual general panic. The solution was presented as the perfect vaccine. It's the ol' Problem-Reaction-Solution method.
Transmitting knowledge across generations is something the nuclear storage engineers and scientists are trying to work out. How to make sure the people of the year 10.000 don't go digging where we currently bury our spent nuclear fuel...
How can we make sure nothing like this crime against humanity ever happens again?
It is what I'm currently pondering. The difference between this situation and storing nuclear fuel is that we can bury and forget about spent nuclear fuel. We can't stop using medicine and science.
So to avoid harming future generations and their relationship to these two sciences, we have to make sure there's a clear difference between the scientific fields and the corporate-bribed perversion of science we're seeing today. We have to send a message, short and concise and something people can relate to in thousands of years.
"The first and greatest punishment of the sinner is the conscience of sin." is a saying I think is relevant here in many ways. It speaks of the difference between the guilty and the tricked, the responsibility of perpetrator... I think it also speaks to me after 2000 years, because it discusses eternal subjects.
Perhaps that could be a way. Perhaps we need more.
