It depends on the doctor. I went to a doctor who said, " Do you want to be one of those old people that take 20 prescriptions?" And, I don't. Even after he retired, that's my method. Solve any issue, and go back to no meds. I prefer physical therapy etc. I will take some things, and refuse others based on my personal opinion, and needs.
And then I'll go back to trying o solve everything with a healthy lifestyle.
