If it were one of those, we wouldn't have all these threads about how it isn't. Most of us would know at least someone who died of it personally. We'd have seen death counts in the millions months ago (remember there are over 7,000,000,000 people in the world and 330,000,000 of them in the US). "It felt like a cold but I was over it in a few days" would be a rare thing to hear.

And we wouldn't need mandates and fingerwagging in our faces to tell us we should isolate ourselves because we'd be doing it; and we'd probably be physically fighting to move up the line for a vaccine.

I can't. I'm not a good liar; and sooner or later, for better or worse, someone will call me out on it asking for proof.

My employer definitely has disciples. A few days ago one of them literally spouted a single-word post in our corporate off-topic chat channel: "Vaccines!!!". Many emojis followed it.

As I posted elsewhere on .win, I fear that we're going to move from the "i got my vaccine! praise science!" phase to a "we need to talk about why you didn't vaccinate" phase. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll all assume I got it because it would never enter their minds that "one of their own" would not take it.

A lot of the right are trying to get away from the left, but the left keep following the right to milk their prosperity and to get a high off their virtue signaling.

Last time I got a flu vaccine, my reaction was getting the flu. And that makes sense to normies because "without the vaccine it could have been worse." Well without the shot I COULD have just not gotten sick at all.

I took a peek at my city's reddit board just to see the response to Texas blocking covid passports. Someone (maybe a bot) has been making a daily Covid megathread with a whole paragraph for the thread name. In the paragraph was, in big bold letters, "...0 NEW CASES SINCE YESTERDAY."

I thought "That good news! Wonder how the community is taking it..." and I made the mistake of reading the comments. Sure enough, people are still masturbating over getting their vaccine, anti-vaxxers are still selfish nazi superspreaders who should be rounded up and/or shot, and anyone not on board the hype train got downvoted.

Maybe if I had spent more time on that board, I could have found the "Here's my story of how I totally nailed an anti-vaxxer, and everyone in the room clapped. EDIT: Thanks for all the reddit gold and awards!!!" anecdote.

That's not all they want young people for.

Even if 100,000 people died from vaccinations, normies will say "Well over 500,000 people died from the virus!" as if that justifies the 100,000.

Another product of the propaganda is that nobody just says "I'm coming down with something" anymore. Now it's "I'm coming down with something; DON'T WORRY IT'S NOT COVID."

I've known this for years listening to the Rush Limbaugh show. At least every other week he would play a montage of a bunch of news anchors using the same punchlines, each with their own minor variation of word soup.

I have no desire to get into an anecdote pissing match with a fearmonger, but if they force me, then I'm going to lay these deaths on them, as well as their insensitivity to the 80,000 people who died from H1N1 (where were their lockdowns then?), and grossly exaggerate my own mental strain of not being able to see most of my old friends or any of my co-workers for over a year.

"Just take the damn vaccine." It's really that simple...well I'd be happy to unpack that for them.

Oh, it's not fair? Less people died from Covid-19 than the vaccine? How absolutely dare you belittle this young woman's death!

I'd like to get a source for those symptoms. Not saying you're wrong; just wanting to increase my reference material when people start getting on my case for not being willing to vaccinate after my office opens back up.

I'm waiting on them to edit the definition of herd immunity to mean 100% of people took a "vaccine," and if even one person did not, then we haven't reached full herd immunity and it's our social responsibility to hunt them down and force it on them.
