The Masoretic Text differs significantly from the much older Septuagint and was compiled by Jewish scholars in the 600s–900s CE, many followers of Rabbi Akiva ben Joseph who hated Jesus Christ.
And I also read a few gospels from the manuscripts found at Nag Hammadi in 1945, including the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Judas, and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. All these non-canonical, Gnostic texts were excluded from the NT. And I also read the 1Enoch translated from the Ethiopian Orthodox Bible, since there are several references in the canonical Bible to the Book of Enoch (not included in any of the major Bible versions made available in the former territories of the Roman Empire).
