Sure, there will be many followers of Jesus Christ who will be killed, after all the jews have been working on precisely this for 2,000 years. But, IMO there will be others who not only will survive, they will also get to smell & taste victory over absolute evil. They will be alive and get to witness the defeat of Satan, the fall of Babylon, and the Final Judgment where evil forces are cast into the lake of fire.
