Great point about IT jobs. Here's an example - You can pay a team of 20 quality workers, who take a lot, and I mean a lot of money to do their job. Or you get AI + 5 IT maintenance workers, who will be replaced immediately if they fk up. Sure, quality will go down, but if Amazon makes an error, can you go to another company to purchase your thing? And let's say you do, but how many would wait for Amazon and still buy there? I work for a betting company to train AI cameras to follow everything that's happening on the pitch. That means that when AI is trained well, it won't require anything from a human, except for the IT dept to look for any new bugs, rules implementation, etc. which is basically maintenance, which exists today as a job. In contrast, we had to have a scout on every venue, people tracking the scouts in real time, people responsible for the work during the shift and overall for the people involved. In this company alone, when AI is trained well, the human process will be reduced with 99%. Of course, not every company, or business, will suffer the same losses, I am just telling you one example from my experience. Of course, you can check online if that's true or not.

The current market for jobs is terrible. I don't know what you work, or even if you do work, but you should review how terrible is the market currently. Even people with multiple PHDs can't find any job. When I was looking for a job, most places scam you for your personal information, and you can't even know it beforehand. Other places require a certificate in programs that would be obsolete by the time I get the certificate. Bottom line - jobs are being lost currently.

Big corporations are sponsoring the losses that are expected from AI integration. The company I worked in, definitely not top 10 in the business, got a 10 billion in funds. Now, it's in the top 3 providers for betting companies, and it will eventually be number 1 specifically because of the AI speed and accuracy.
It's the same idea for new movies, series, games, and any type of online entertainment. As Larry Fink said - they modify behavior. If a studio can add the trans topic, the gay is good topic, the evil white man, the feminism, etc., etc. - they don't care how much they lost because few people are actually watching - Blackrock is covering all that and waaaay above.
The playground for AI is China because you can't complain there. Facial recognition that gives you a ticked via your phone for jaywalking before you even reach the end of the lane... Automated no cash, no personnel stores, gas stations, etc. Even your health condition is controlled by AI, no waiting, no extra costs for medical exam.
