Ok, I apologize. You seem to be doing this in somewhat good faith. Please excuse my acerbic tone
The reality, for me, and I think for any student/casual student of history, is that almost all major civilizations have committed atrocities -- while we say that violence is 'wrong', the fact remains that violence has shaped every good and bad thing in our societies. An over-arching discussion of who was 'right' or 'wrong' is of little interest to me, because it would only serve the purposes of propaganda. And, since I have little influence over anyone outside my loved ones, I'm not so interested in that.
I'm generally on the side of Hitler because I think (know) that the holocaust didn't happen. Clearly we'll have a difference of opinion on that, so any discussion would become strident and acerbic.
Anyway, I hope that you continue to enjoy your study of history. I find myself increasingly reading physics/engineering, where we can at least be somewhat certain of results. And I keep hoping that someone will ask me to do landscaping.
Nah bruv, you just don't understand.
Look: Germany was 'expansionistic', right... and they were fought by the Brits... who literally expanded to 1/4 of the world! So why were the OG expansionists complaining about a 15% increase in the German empire.
I realize that you're (a) young; and (b) massively propagandized. If you're smart enough to grow out of that, you'll be able to assess data.
A question: Germany was so evil because they invaded Poland. At the end of the war, Russia controlled Poland. Patton pointed out that they could drive the Communists out of Poland. And then he died.
Why is attacking Poland worse than controlling Poland.
I know, I know: I'm a stupid fucking ignorant nigger-paki who doesn't understand History.
But remember: Hitler wanted Poland. Russia ended up with Poland... and the allies did... nothing. At this point you should be able to add up 1+1, right?
Oh wait, I'm a nigger-paki.
Is it not fabricated? I just assumed, since they rarely say the soft part out loud. If it's real then... wow.
I mean: I heard about him,, but only in the last few years. It's clear that the (((communists))) are the worst blight on human history. Equally clear is that the NatSocs weren't.
Eh, Hitler didn't do anything of the sort. It's depressing that we have the power of the internet, but (((someone))) has turned it into pointless arguing where almost nobody looks at evidence and first principles.
Mass-murder is characteristic of (((jewish))) governments.
I really think it's the woman thing that drives all of this.
Unfortunately, saying women are 'stupid' is ever so slightly off the mark, and leads to tedious discussions of: What about Curie, Lovelace etc (both of whom did sweet f-all, by the way).
Women are capable enough IQ-wise, but they lack (a) Camaraderie; and (b) Creativity (among other things). This is why there are no major chick prog-rock bands, for instance. It's also why chicks can succeed in academia, because they're perfectly capable of glomming on to a major, male-driven movement like Quantum Mechanics, and then adding a term to an equation here or there.
The dropping of atomic bombs on two of our major cities was fantastic -- best mass murder in history!
The firebombing of German cities was great -- mass civilian death and a light-show!
Did any of that show up at (((Nuremberg)))? It must have, because that was totally about war-crimes.
I'm of an age to know WWII survivors, and I'm fluent in French. No one ever said anything bad about them. The only problems were a lack of food due to wartime rationing. The younger ones (say 10years old during the war) loved the germans.
Curiously, the next generation -- born during or after the war -- just fell into the usual propaganda. Or, sigh, (((propaganda))).
Eh,,, the real issue is why can I go east or west from Rome, and end up in Toronto? No flat earther touches this question in any meaningful way. They just point to other map projections, without explaining why the trajectories on those projections make sense.
Dead in the water.
Well... they've done these experiments with bacteria at Michigan State. They've been going on for decades. It's actually really interesting. You can look them up and see what you think.
Personally I thought that they verified the parts of 'evolution' that are true (tall people have tall kids etc), but not the parts that are in question (speciation).
I want to watch this, but I can't stand looking at his slimy face.
