Well, I know for sure that actually they are using AI pattern detectors on internet speech and it does feed into their databases. Our local software supplier to the feds, Palantir, does that kind of stuff. They don't talk about it but in the community we know of it. I think Israel also has that.

All good things to consider if we were to build an AI able to detect troll dopplegangers on the basis of their attributes (characteristics). Actually it is genuinely feasible to build such a tool and use it to hunt for likely alts. And for example, one could use OpenAI's GPT and train it on the speech of known trolls. That would enable searches for all findable utterances of such people and lay them open to the public.
